Summertime Sissy

We've talked about Holidays so yes it must be summer right but what does summer mean to you and where can it go to as a sissy?

You may and I did spend part of my holidays looking more like the sissy gurl I am however you may do it girlie short shorts or skirts, rouched pretty tops, cute girls socks or whatever it is your choice.

Perhaps it was a childhood dream, maybe you are more of a Little as a sissy gurl but picture a world where you HAD to be a gurl to play with girls.

I'd of loved it.

Part of that social transitioning to being a gurl would mean having to do more girl things in hur most femmed state in front of girls.

Things would never be the same, no one would ever think of you as a boy however much you might of thought they'd called you a pansy behind your back.

You were a Sissy Gurl front and central from now on and nobody would ever let you forget it.

This gurls holiday

This weeks entry is a mammoth one!

Having returned from my vacation, I thought I'd share some pictures of Conway harbour, North Wales, with you all taken on Minolta film SLR.

The weather forecast was grim - strong winds and heavy showers - but actually it was really sunny and only on the Wednesday was there a one hour shower mid afternoon.

It was as well I had my blue waterproof jacket with me I guess.
This first picture was taken using the 50mm lens with polarizer.

Conway Harbour Aquarium. Taken with 35mm lens
Taken with Tamron 90mm
You can take a cruise along the River Conway. Taken with 135mm lens
Here are a few more pictures I took of Llandudno where I stayed

Some more vacation pictures - Llandudno sea front showing the War Memorial - done using a cheap digital camera.

Llandudno beach looking toward the Pier and Grand Hotel.

Whenever I go away I always  pack my lined swimming attire as I love either sitting around or playing on the beach making sand castles and the like armed with a bucket and spade. Being the child I am my toned down school attire is always packed when I go away as well as such essentials as camera, sun cream and nivea cream in case I get burnt or cut myself.

I went on the Great Orme so here are a few pictures I took on film
A restful scene with the hardy Goats grazing

The original of this was over exposed but I corrected the exposure in Roxio Photosuite

Pictures taken with Rokkor 35, 50 and 135mm lenses on Minolta camera using Fuji Superia 200 colour print film.

Flower festival on the Trent and Mersey canal

Yesterday I attended part of a series of community events here on our local Inland waterway
Lindsey, a British Waterways narrow-boat, was being used as floating flower garden that forms part of the 2008 Cheshire Years of Gardens event.
This event took place on the Trent and Mersey canal at Rode Heath. Shad arrived at half past two in the afternoon having made an unscheduled stop at Church Lawton first.
Shad was decked out with flower displays sponsored by local groups such as the local Scouts, playgroups, WI's etc.
She was greeted by children and staff from the Infants of Rode Heath community school who had spent this term learning about inland waterways and narrow boats that formed a large part of the industrial and social heritage of this area when they were used to transport Brine (salt) and Pottery from North Staffordshire to Runcorn and Liverpool.
At Three-thirty, we were treated to a half hour brass band concert from the Juniors who performed in a tent.
Many locals attended coupled with visitors who had arrived by narrowboat enroute to Middlewich for the Boat and Folk festival at the weekend.
In the evening people were treated to a Dancing Troupe, the Rheema church choir and a two hour concert by Rode Hall silver band, one of the finest in the North West of England.
At the left is an image of her sister boat, Shad.

History of Shad, the narrowboat.

Shad, a motor narrow boat, was built in 1936 for Fellows, Morton and Clayton Ltd (FMC). For nearly 30 years, she worked on the canals between Wolverhampton, Ellesmere Port, Manchester and Nottingham, transporting up to 25 ton loads of general cargo. Her cargoes ranged from tea, sugar and flour to industrial raw materials and products such as coal, sand and metal ingots.

During this time, she was also home to a family of boat people. Despite the very small living area, the family would have been permanently resident on the boat and in fact, William and Emmie Grimes gave birth to their daughter aboard the boat on 15th January 1941.

Over the years, Shad had a succession of owners. In August 1950, when Shad was inspected as an accommodation unit, the Master was named as Mrs Shaw and the boat was registered for 3 adults in the aft cabin. By 1952 the Atkins family were living on her and by 1954, she had changed hands once more and her Master was listed as G Brookes.

Since 1949, when FMC went into liquidation, Shad had been part of the British Waterways North West Division's Carrying Fleet. British Waterways stopped carrying by boat in the 1960s and Shad was then leased to a number of different companies, undertaking a variety of carrying contacts. Eventually the speed of the lorry literally overtook the use of boats for carrying cargo and Shad was written off by British Waterways on 9th August 1976.

Retired to Hayhurst yard in Northwich, Shad proceeded to fill with rainwater and sink. In 1981 she transferred to the Boat Museum at Ellesmere Port where she was completely restored and for a number of years she fulfilled the role of museum trip boat.

Today Shad still plays an important part in the national waterways collection and can usually be found on display at the National Waterways Museum Ellesmere Port (formerly the Boat Museum).

Sissy time away

With going away time is short but that act of packing your case brings things into mind as you have to choose what actually matters to you and much of that centres around the clothes that I'm taking away with me.

I'd love a whole day devoted to wearing pretty dresses, deportment and feminine arts.

You can't go away with taking undies with you but this sissy belongs in silky panties like "french knickers and even if I have to go a few places drab, wearing them would just remind me of who I am.

Childhood fantasies included make overs by Mum while doing stereotypically girls things with her like cooking, cleaning or trying on clothes in the women's and girls department.

Spending time experimenting with looks was always a thing with me and apretty baby doll with matching frilly panties is so sissy it IS me!

Of course one thing leads to another and been taught to apply my own make up just dressed in a bra and panties really would seal my fate.

Taking a walk on the wild side

When one thinks about this life it is not just a matter of just sticking on a dress but more how the whole you feels

Health does matter as does alertness.

I find walks in the countryside to keep myself fit of great benefit  as on your travels you see grey squirrels, wild flowers, butterflies and even whole families of ducks crossing pathways.

Being out of doors places constraints on what you can wear with both terrain and the possibilities of getting tangled up in hedgerows or plants with sharp points on their stems so anything that my blow or get caught up doesn't work.

I usually try to ensure I have a gender neutral coat on and soft girls woollen gloves in the winter  months and ensure I am wearing the most feminine knickers I have and where possible cute socks  with shorts to make this as much a time for being feminine as I can.

I find it helps to integrate switching off from devices and situations with bringing out my more feminine boys side.

 It's a great relaxant.

Time for Tammy the Brownie to step out

Summer is here so thoughts go flooding back to parts of my life I loved the most as that young and misunderstood child who might of had one "official" name but really was this gurl called Tammy.

Tammy's being misunderstood as a child had consequences one of which impacted on what I, loved, Scouting so I wouldn't been able to be the Brownie and Girl Guide I wanted to be and present at meetings and parades as I really am on the inside.

This is one thing I'd of read but rather than just moping about it, actually there's no reason why I cannot be that Brownie in Spirit -an Eternal Brownie - and follow much of the program which being more suited for outdoor stuff being summer I'll do some of.

Questions, questions, questions!

When I was younger we tended to be told more what we were doing and where we going but today that's different, something I feel is a good thing.

I can answer some of them.

I would like to go to Snowdonia and learn more about that area.

I'd like to do the Land (Adventure) Badge going underground.

I'd like to learn more about Iceland.

To be honest just learning cooking would a great thing for me as I never did!

I'd like to with some help, as hands are poorly, make a model kit from start to finish

Faeries, imps and pixies feature in our world and an imp even is on the Badge although mummy says if don't stop being an imp, I'll have a smack!

Summer is a great time for camp fires especially at night which were something I loved when I was younger and I'd love to go to one this year.

Tammy is an eternal Brownie. Long may it be so!
