Cycling in the Moorlands

Staffordshire is a beautiful county in the North-west Midlands of England and that's not just me being biased as a resident of it.
A roadside rest where you'll note both boys are wearing different shorts.
Checking the route on top of the signpost for this part of the Staffordshire Moorlands near where I live.
Sometimes you just have to get off of your bike and walk with it.
It's a downhill section for this boy as he passes the dry stone walls
Raleigh bikes were very popular in this era and these two boys like corduroy shorts
Some passing car has left its number plate on the road side...
Enjoying a much needed sip of pop from your can as the others wait on.

I had a Adidas close fitting T shirt like that at the time

These pictures were taken as part of a official photoshoot with the boys being kitted out for it reflecting the times.

Enid's Sunshine Book and adventure

One author whose books I grew up with was Enid Blyton who apart from writing who character based series also wrote a number of short stories and one off pieces that have been collected over the years.

This collection assembled by Dean's and Son's in 1965 and in an early 1970's reprint is typical of it being a mixture of short stories, poems such as The Wind and  a few extracts from The Children at Happy House written in 1951.

This is my original copy which I treasure.

From time to time publishers do either abridged collections or themed compilations and here are two stories - Mischief at St. Rollo's and The Children of Kidillin that were originally published under a pen name but really were Enid's own work.

This Collin's edition dates from 1967 so is free from the bowdlerizing touch of later editions.

Big Gurl presentations for sissy

However you wrap your head around it from the more adult side of being a sissy gurl you can't, I certainly can't, deny I get something from being made radically female as a host of mainly male stereotypes evaporates.

Grown up female lingerie has certainly changed over the decades but for me beyond that of the more little sissy gurl me, I like the more classic forties and fifties fuller sort that has an air of mystery around it.

For me silky french knickers do it, clearly adult but modest, enticing but not "in your face" with lashings of lace.

A matching camisole makes for a smart sexy look befitting of  an adult gurl.

A matching pair of red bra and french knickers has its place in the adult sissy life such as the bedroom or a date maybe.

Everything that and pretty outfit can offer would be wasted if you did not attend to your make up so you really looked the part and when that's a part of you, why not?

The kickabout difference

The usual transgender narrative never applied as much as people tried to fix it to me because I definitely had an still have a more dominant feminine side that could slot into the very binary world I grew up in fairly well not having any dysphoria around my body nor what we wore.

The problem was more around other peoples attitudes.

I am physically disabled but played football as hard as it was for me to stay upright, concentrate on the action and generally get stuck in in all weather.

I got the hang of it even if my football boots needed another lad to fasten them for me and they developed a respect for me for having the guts and determination to just do it.

It didn't alter the fact I would want to play netball with the girls or that after a hard game I really needed some girls TLC for my injured feminine side rather than the gruff stoic stuff you got in the changing rooms.

It was the reverse of some of the girls who wanted a game at playtime but they boys wouldn't let them and other girls called them names.

I learned we actually had more in common as I got older.

It's why I see myself more as a little sissy gurl or a jane gurl than a transgirl.

Team Games III

Here go in the last of the current Team Sports series looking at the the time sports I loved  from Junior and High school.
Field Hockey
We're on the case of the ball!
Fielding, what you need to be good at.

My brother got sent off for hitting an opponent with his hockey stick on the field!

Overall view as the match is well underway.
Girls playing the game and yes I'd sooner play in a games skirt or skort as a feminine gurl with them.

It's no wonder I've always followed the NHL don'tcha think?
