Sissy gurl allys

Pasts come into play and we've talked about birthdays recently not least because what sadly was missing from the last two birthdays was not just the closest feminine influence on me but also in time coming out.

There were in my earlier years others that I talked a lot a lot about this with such as Linda who found the idea of a boy not wishing to be socially at least one hard to get her head around initially and Louise who did a total deconstruction job on the state of my clitty in the presence other girls as present you looked scarlet.

Between them they removed me from available boy to sissy gurl plaything.

But what is being a sissy gurls ally really all about given you've had this feeling you didn't really fit in where you'd been told and expected you would?

I guess it is that they try to find out where you do and support you in being more of yourself like a friend I had in residential college did that I came out to where I was dressing femme.

It may involve encouraging you to dress as you feel, taking pictures for posterity that mutual friends in future might see and them actively encouraging and pushing you to dress as your sissy self at least in front of them, using your sissy name in public.

Them telling you they WANT you in dresses from now on as they've seen how calm and happy you are following your true destiny as a sissy gurl.

It takes a special kind of sister to unravel and bring out the sissy gurl in all hur frilliness from within her brother capturing that for posterity, seeing you at your happiest.

An sissy gurl ally I'd say spends the time to learn all about you, exploring and even cajoling you to let it out.

She will take you to the lingerie shop to buy your first girlie panties and may be that matching bra before heading home to put you in them, getting you to open up more, talking with her with your sissiness exposed before working on getting you into short little girl dresses.

She finds ways of being dominant as you just melt.

Your life moves more and more in accordance with what you are as they ensure you can never go back to where you were.

That's what a Sissy Gurl Ally is.

With thanks to all that made sissikins come out with it.

The Integrated Brownie

The genius of this post is a long as this blog goes which is to say when you are a sissy gurl who was brought up on paper at least as a boy many of your social connections  and memories are influenced by the gender divide and this was true of Scouting.

It wasn't that contact with with "the enemy" wasn't always stopped and sometimes even sanctioned as for instance I might of been directed to sit with and even work together with a girl just most activities were self contained so you may as well of come from two different lands.

The thing was sometimes actual integration of gender divided units did happen such as joint camps where Cubs and Brownies while in separate units did take part in shared activities even if you may of had specific time toward your badgework.

The Americans for reasons best kept to themselves styled themselves as Girl Scouts even if they had a Brownies section and these two handbooks form a part of that outlining the program to transition to the next level and around understanding the world around you and all within it.

Sometimes people try to say Scouts has a different and better feel to it than Girl Guiding but both contain elements of each other and while scouts has a more rugged image, Girl Guiding isn't all uber gentile or a soft option.

Tammy could of easily belong in that first picture in more enlightened times as the first person in the second row from the front dressed then in hur Brown Tunic in with the girls as a gurl or today in a simple brown pleated skirt, presenting femininely.

Yes you may of needed separate space for changing for reasons of modesty but that could be easily provided but for the Tammy's of this world it would of been a sensible solution, placed and under the rules of feminine section but not cut off from the boys finding a balanced approach as a gurl, able to do more girly things but join in kickabouts just like Tomboys.

Tammy is a modern Brownie as  Gurl.

Birthday

Well, it comes around every twelve months with its complications like the ungurly presents some do insist on presenting you with but it is actually here although last years was all messed up and with visitors you might be a bit constrained about how you want to dress on what is your birthday.

Whatever the challenges you may face, a sissies birthday is always better with suitably sissy presents like soft frilly knickers with lace trimming and you'll almost certainly find a way of putting them on YOUR day won't you, sissy?

While I don't know about any other presents and they can always be added as an update I do the know the Super Audio cd of Genesis's Selling England By The Pound by Analogue Productions as part of the Atlantic 75 years anniversary delayed from last November is here.

Given the record version was acclaimed, I'm looking forward to spinning this disc

There will be a fuller write up around the 2004-2005 installment of Now Millennium but this gathering of notable tracks from those two years will help bringing back the sounds of that era coupled with a book about the artists and times.

I'm sure there will be some money to put towards a few other purchases looking towards Easter and Summer get together and unlike last year we'll have a small meal together at a local pub, something we always did when Mom was alive and something that didn't happen last time as that's been booked.

It's MY birthday and going forward the only thing that matters is being true to my own sissy self and it begins by acknowledging it today.

Wings 1973 redux

This week we are going back in time with two albums that have joined the record collection and only otherwise exist in the 1993 limited edition DCC 24 karat gold plated cd editions.

Sir Paul McCartney and Wings are not fully represented in vinyl in part due to the cd revolution coming as I bought many of his albums on that format and part due to finding a number of them not titles that I play that much so what is on vinyl are original childhood copies, well cared for of things like Ram, Band On The Run, Venus & Mars, London Town and Tug Of War plus Wings Greatest the 1978 compilation that had non album singles on it.

Recording for Red Rose Speedway began at Olympic Studios in London between 6–30 March 1972

It was initially planned as a double album and Paul McCartney decided to include some unreleased songs that had originally been recorded during the Ram sessions in 1971, before the formation of Wings, two of which, "Get on the Right Thing" and "Little Lamb Dragonfly", appeared on the final album.

The album ends with an 11-minute medley of the songs "Hold Me Tight", "Lazy Dynamite", "Hands of Love" and "Power Cut", which was made in a similar style to the Beatles' Abbey Road medley

The album was originally issued in the UK on May 4th 1973 on lp, 8 track tape and cassette but was treated to a special limited edition half speed mastered cut on April 22nd 2023 for Record Day Special which I have to say is most impressive.

It keeps the 12 page illustrated booklet folded and is housed in a thick gatefold sleeve.

That edition was pressed by GZ Media in the Czech Republic.

There are anniversaries that you may quite enjoy and there are others that just remind you of how many tens of years have gone by such as the recent anniversary of the 1973 multi-million seller, Band On The Run which was marked on February 2nd with the release of full original album and extended versions on lp record and compact disc.

Too bad there wasn't a limited edition 8 track as as those of us around then will recall there was and indeed I did own the UK edition which sounded rather good where it was played at home and in the car player a lot.

I opted for the single lp version as I have little use for a disc of demos as much as musicologists get a buzz out comparing songs as they evolve and for another this uses the US track listing that added Helen Wheels, a 1973 single to the second side of the UK album.

It came pressed by Optimal in Germany with the original poster plus OBI.

Being cut using a Half Speed mastering system from high resolution files from the original analogue tapes allowed it to sound much better than the original US Apple edition and even challenge the UK which was really good with strong bass.

I was delighted with this edition.

Winter away week Part.2

It took much longer to get back than anticipated because of terrible road conditions thanks to an accident and a person trying to take their life but here's the continuation post.

Because this was a littles get together for adult girls and gurls there were children's toys to play with and the only thing that resembled a punishment being put on the norty step after being verbally chastised in full view of everyone.

Anything else in individual groups in their rooms was strictly private.

We made Viking Boats and sailed them on the lake which needed proper footwear to keep the mud off you

Because it's for  Littles, dollies  were out in force and indeed we were reminded to bring our dollies with us so this sissy played with them which felt so so fitting for me.

Tammy with help made Barbie cakes with pretty pink icing measuring the mixture which made me feel like a young gurl all over again.

There was a Barbie themed party with sausage rolls, cakes and jelly on offer and games like musical chairs and pass the parcel.

Sissikins actually won pass the parcel and so won hur Foil Art Set to decorate pretty girls with.

A delightful littles time was had for sissikins.

Winter away week

Sissikins is away this week so as ever I don't take my computer with me because being away isn't about hiding behind a screen becoming totally involved with something I could do anywhere it's really about being WITH other littles.

It's about running and skipping about together in the nearby  grounds, fields and country lines hand in hand without a care in the world as little gurl you where being that is just accepted as much as getting high on sugar from sweets.

It's about play as in games like rock paper scissors as much as running around playing tag or water pistol fights and indoor games classes.

In the evenings we have quiz or two and read a bedtime story.

It can be a all gurls kickabout enjoying a non competitive football session whenever we feel like as being a sissy gurl doesn't mean we can't play and indeed today girls play it too

We do have netball games too to let steam off when we aren't making things and enacting stories featuring our makes.

While because you're sharing public space you need to think about when and how, you can and I love going down to the park to play in the playground on swings and climbing frames

It's all one magical time when you get to spend days with others being a little sissy gurl all dolled up in your frillies paying with dollies.

Now Yearbooks 1990

After looking at a few issues in this life, let's go back to 1990 and enjoy ourselves shall we?

Book format with chart information and  pictures are present in this edition of the Now Yearbook.

We last touched base as the cool kids say with Now Yearbook last September with the 1973 issue and it's worth saying I'd stopped buying compilations like the Now's apart from the mid to late 90's Shine Indies ones.

1990 was a transitional year format was as I'd moved from lp with Early 1989 with Now 14 to cd by Summer's Now 15 and that was to run on 1991 and many of main trends of 1989 continued into 1990.

As with the other titles it is also available in deluxe 4 cd book form and cheaper fold round card cd versions with more tracks apart from the vinyl release.

Starting the rewind back to 1990 are George Michael with ‘Praying For Time’, and Elton John with his #1 single ‘Sacrifice’, followed by Roxette’s ‘It Must Have Been Love’ from the soundtrack to ‘Pretty Woman’. Disc One includes #1s from New Order, New Kids On The Block sadly missing on the vinyl edition, Steve Miller Band, and The Beautiful South, as well as Pop smashes from The KLF, The B-52’s, Kylie Minogue, Whitney Houston Kim Appleby, and concluding with the theme from Twin Peaks, Julee Cruise’s ‘Falling’, Chris Isaak with ‘Wicked Game’ and Pet Shop Boys defining ‘Being Boring’.

Dance floor-fillers start off Disc 2 from Deee-Lite with ‘Groove Is In The Heart’, #1s from SNAP!, and from Adamski & Seal plus club classics from Bass-O-Matic and Adventures Of Stevie V with ‘Dirty Cash (Money Talks)’, plus the unexpected collaboration between DNA & Suzanne Vega. British R&B legends Innocence and Soul II Soul appear ahead of a run of Indie-Alt legends including Happy Mondays, The Stone Roses, The Charlatans, Primal Scream and The Cure – before finishing on Candy Flip’s cover of ‘Strawberry Fields Forever’, and ‘All Together Now’ from The Farm.

Disc 3 opens with the brilliant interpretation of Prince’s ‘Nothing Compares 2 U’ from the late Sinéad O'Connor. Up next are film related hits; Maria McKee’s ‘Show Me Heaven’, from the ‘Days Of Thunder’ soundtrack, and the ‘Young Guns II’ track ‘Blaze Of Glory’ from Jon Bon Jovi. Faith No More had their UK Top 40 Chart debut with ‘Epic’, and the Grammy Award-winning US #1 for Alannah Myles ‘Black Velvet’ appears, alongside huge US artists Cher, Heart, and 1990’s biggest US hit from Wilson Phillips… and there’s still room for Pop-Reggae from UB40 and Maxi Priest, and the mega rap debut from M.C. Hammer and a further two #1 singles – both debuts - from Partners In Kryme with ‘Turtle Power’ and Vanilla Ice with ‘Ice Ice Baby’ that samples Queen's Under Pressure.

The tenth consecutive Top 10 hit for Pet Shop Boys ‘So Hard’ opens the concludiing disc, followed by the superb cover of the Disco classic ‘You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)’ from Jimmy Somerville, before a second appearance from Kylie Minogue with her Disco anthem ‘Step Back In Time’ and one of Stock, Aitken & Waterman’s greatest dancefloor tracks ‘Happenin’ All Over Again’ from Lonnie Gordon. Pop/Dance gold from 49ers, Blue Pearl, and Bananarama lead into timeless Pure-Pop from Dusty Springfield, Halo James, Jason Donovan, Adam Ant with Room At The Top and another track from the ‘Pretty Woman’ soundtrack – this time from Go West before the collection winds down with two classic covers from Deacon Blue and a-ha, closing with two ‘60s hits that became hits once again, Bobby Vinton’s ‘Blue Velvet’ following its use in film, and tv commercials, and The Righteous Brothers with their rendition of ‘Unchained Melody’ – featured in 1990’s biggest film ‘Ghost’ which helped catapult the song to #1, 25 years since its initial release, when it reached #14.

This is a more comprehensive selection than the period Now 17 and 18 albums I bought on compact disc that year.

Issued March 15th the Extra edition that tops up the main volume emerged in its simple card cover which may be effective but does stick out like a sore thumb next to the beautiful main edition.
This just finishes off nicely the year adding singles both major hits like How Am I Supposed To Live With You, a cover of the Laura Branigan hit  and Betty Boo's Doin' The Do and minor ones.
