Black Explosion!

Finally this month I got around to remaking this mainly soul based Ronco compilation from my youth using digital sources.

It is mainly a soul, funk and hint if reggae compilation issued in early 1974 with tracks from the late 1960's and 70's including Soulville by Aretha Franklin before she signed to Atlantic in 1968.

I originally owned this on eight track tape but got the record during a period I was without a tape player for it.

It originally run for 62 minutes which with 24 tracks on it meant apart from sounding somewhat thin each track had to be edited down quite drastically to get it all to fit!
My new version isn't as I just matched the average levels between each song up nicely and comes to about 79 minutes in total.

Soul eaters

Maka Alburn Meister from Soul Eaters.

Eventually I got around to finishing off the Soul Eater series.
A recent arrival here, I have just finished watching all 13 episodes on this two dvd anime set.
Produced by studio Bones who've given us Fullmetal Alchemist and Cowboy Be-Bop this is an innovative series that keeps you glued to the seat of your pants.

Adapted from Atsushi Okubo's Soul Eater manga, the series is set in Death City where the Death Weapons Meisters Academy (DWMA) an institution where spiritually charged students change into weapons or have the ability to wield them.
The lessons are a bit unusual in that students have to hunt down Kishin (demons that consume the souls of innocent living in order to increase their own powers) however if a student wear to defeat 99 kishin and eat their souls AND then eat the soul of an evil Witch for their 100th meal, they evolve into a Death Scythe an extremely powerful form used by Lord Death himself.
The main characters Maka and Soul are an odd couple but they kind of get along which just as well for a Meister and her weapon!
I enjoyed watching the this part of the series as we were slowly introduced to all the characters and their personalities.
Manga issued it over here as a two dvd set in a single regular case which apart from taking up less space than stand alone discs is actually cheaper (Amazon, HMV and Play were doing it for 14.99 shipped) and should encourage folk to keep with properly licensed discs.
I'd give this set 8/10.

Background: Set in the Shinigami technical school for weapon meisters, the series revolves around 3 groups of each a weapon meister and a human weapon. Trying to make the latter a "Death Scythe" and thus fit for use by the Shinigami, they must collect the souls of 99 evil humans and 1 witch. Soul Eater is an anime that centres around meisters and their weapons and their mission to collect 99 evil souls and 1 witch soul. Upon doing that the meister's weapons will become a Deathscythe, which is the highest title for a weapon. Maka, Soul Eater, Black Star, Tsubaki, Death the Kid, and Patty and Liz Thompson are the characters Soul Eater revolves around. Besides taking the time to gather souls these students of Shibusen defend Death City from some of the most powerful of creatures while still attending school and trying to become stronger.

I bought volumes 2 and three upon day of issue.

Volume four sees the DWMA forced into making a deal via Medusa offering Lord Death vital information about the Kishin in exchange for her safety. After she leaves, the increasingly crazed Stein wanders out after her with the manipulative witch Medusa (who is Crona's evil mother) for the location of the Kishin an Arachne's base of operations, Baba Yaga Castle. Meanwhile Doctor Stein loses himself to madness and Crona decides to take on some responsibility.

Soon everyone is preparing for their own missions: Black Star, Tsubaki, Soul Eater and Maka are going to join Death's armies, and attack Arachne and the Kishin; Death the Kid heads for a devastated city to retrieve the last magical item; and Crona and Marie set out to rescue Stein from Medusa. Both Kid and Maka are having doubts about whether they're doing the right thing, especially since Maka is worried about what will happen when Crona encounters his evil mother.

As we watch we see the main main characters maturing in their own ways. Maka and Death the Kid begin to doubt everything they've ever been taught, including their trust in Lord Death. Soul has to deal with his inner imp once and for all, and Crona desperately tries to atone for his sins against his friends as well as growing more confident in his body. Even Black Star is confronted by a rather sinister anecdote about his late father (who had a very similar personality), but refuses to give up.
It's been a inviting series that nevers lets up to the final end.

The sissy part in the T psyche

This one often puzzles people be they researchers, the entire trans-gendered community and Mr & Mrs Joe Bloggs of Averagesville, Alberta.

The thing we are talking about is Gender variance the way in which as individuals we vary from the gender we were brought up with because of the mishmash between our physiological state (for the most part) and how we saw ourselves in our gender roles.

A few years ago a ground breaking book was published The Transgender Phenomenon by Ekins & King which set apart the attempt to define in the old sharply different way that of the Transvestite and the Transsexual.

They identified four main types of variance:
(1)               Migrating – moving wholly over to the female which is what most would put Transsexuals
(2)               Oscillating – going back and forth between roles which traditionally Transvestites would come under
(3)               Negating - activities and roles where gender expression is made to be inferior or otherwise less important, eg sissification
(4)               Transending – going beyond conventional binary genders

We're all different but having read several pieces by people who do love their 'sissy' side it does seem likely that for a number of us being in a setting with either a Mistress or  your S.O  where they are calling the shots does it for us.

It does probably because firstly we are looking to be re-raised to be female under their tuition as we play catch up, we want to feel we have met their standards as superiors.

Being 'forced', put into uniforms to carry out tradition female roles is an initiation we feel we need and also get of on as we no longer have to battle with our will to change – we going to be changed.

Also I feel many of us do have a genuine love of prettiness, a child like innocence and girlish unthreateningness – the boys were always on the cusp a big dangerous dare – and yes a touch romantic in our outlooks (we want a happy ending).

What of the Dominatrix? Maybe  just maybe it has a symbolism of the Dominate mother like figure and of the  strength of the female world we aspire to.

On one hand sissification can just an extension of “forced feminisation”, on the other it can be more.

It can be about submission and exploring the far reaches of femininity as a counterpoint to a masculine world.

For me this period has been interesting for being under the influence of person who is taking me way beyond my comfort zone to find the parts that are hidden.

This was one assigment I was ordered to do:

Here's what you do for your next pose x x - especially for your short - short slut skirt.
Find a chair, sit in it, cross your legs - and let your skirt ride up over your thighs and expose your stocking tops and give us a little peek at your panties.
You need to sit at a slight angle to the camera - not straight on.And another good thing for you to try is to properly stuff your bra - try different sizes of breasts to help you decide which size is just right for you and then, add a little more...

Don't be afraid to take several shots from slightly different angles.. All it takes is a little patience and you'll end up with quite a hot picture that screams slut!

I do like the outfit - it suits you. I think you have found the proper you. How does that make you feel x x - that you might be best suited to being a shameless slut?Miss D

Very good! Are you pleased with the result? You should be - you look quite nice - enticing - a glimpse of panties, thighs bared, shiny fingernails - quite femmed.
You are just being a pretty gurl posing with a hint of sexuality - there is nothing wrong with that. I think you captured the essence perfectly.

Personally I found it a relief to find and let out my sexual side, embracing it, advertising my availability.  I have a "Slut" side in me.

If it takes a dominant to jolt me out of any inner censoring letting it all out then so be it.

What sayeth you?

Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles series 2

One result of UK distributor Revelation losing the Funimation licences has been this, Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles series 2 missing a UK release.

I imported the US R1 Funimation release and have almost finished watching all 26 episodes (by tonight I'd of seen the lot!).

I won't spoilt the story for those who haven't seen it but it continues the struggle from series 1 to get all of Sakura's memory feathers back and tests the loyalty of all four travellers and young Syaoran's love for Princess Sakura to the limit.

Test results

 The

COMBINED GENDER IDENTITY AND TRANSSEXUALITY INVENTORY

 (COGIATI)

Your COGIATI result value is: 80 Which means that you fall within the following category:

COGIATI classification THREE, ANDROGYNE

What this means is that the Combined Gender Identity And Transsexuality Inventory has classified your internal gender identity to be essentially androgynous, both male and female at the same time, or possibly neither. In some cultures in history, you would be considered to be a third sex, independent of the polarities of masculine or feminine. Your gender issues are intrinsic to your construction, and you will most likely find your happiness playing with expressing both genders as you feel like it.

SUGGESTIONS FOR ACTION:

Your situation is a little tricky in our current society, but not tremendously so, depending on your geographic location.

The suggestions for your circumstance are not overly complicated.

If you have any comfortability about your gender expression, some slight degree of counseling might well prove helpful. The primary goal would be to make it possible for you to enjoy your gender expressions free from any shame or embarrassment, and to resolve any remaining questions you might have.

As an androgynous being, both genders, and both sexes are natural to your expression. Permanent polarization in either direction might bring significant unhappiness. It is not recommended that you go through a complete transsexual transformation. You might find a partial transformation of value, if you find yourself more attracted overall to the feminine. You are more likely a transgenderist, than a transsexual. It is recommended that you recognize that your gender issues are real, but that extreme action regarding them should be viewed with great caution.

If you have not already, consider joining any of the thousands of groups devoted to gender play of various varieties. There is literally a world of friends to discover who share your interests. There are also publications, vacations, and activities that would expand your gender play.

Thank you for using the Combined Gender Identity And Transsexuality Inventory.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

This was the test result using the now popular COGIATI test common in transexual and cross-dressing circles which isn't perfect but does look at the physical and more pyschological gender based sides which does lay bare the lack of Transexual feelings such as the lack of gender dysphoria and the broad spread of feminine and masculine gender input.

It did look around the sexual side showing that I do get a turn on from being femmed, getting and enjoying 3rections and had an interest in sex although with me that's when I'm more in an adult headspace.

With Miss D I got to that point. Nothing was the same afterwards.

In the future then really more mix and match even with permanently feminine lingerie as a base would be the better way of balencing things out to be comfortable in my own skin

Naruto Shippuden

At long last the R2 UK edition of this second part of the Narutu story comes out June 14th.

We kick off with this volume covering the story of Kazekage's Rescue which takes place over 32 episodes.

In the two and a half years since Narutu Uzumaki left the Hidden Leaf Village to train up as a ninja under Jiraiya, much has changed.

The boy is stronger, taller and a bit smarter even if his irrepressible nature still leaves him to put his foot in it when Sakura is around.

The good thing about this new Naruto series is the storytelling is much slower which is aided by putting much more fine detail into the story enabling you to get more out the story emotionally and the stories have more depth to them, the absence of which previously was something that to be quite candid put me off collecting it as much as I can understand the basic plot.

The initiated know shoujo is more my thing and the other great thing about Shippunden is Sakura who was previously on the periphery of the story playing a stereotypical role as a medical trainee takes a more central role showing her powerful warrior like abilities being able to split the ground with a single punch and co-operating with Naruto.

Narutu is a boy I love cos he reminds me about myself, brave, fearless, loyal member off a team but a bit clumsy socially and lacking in emotional control, still needing a firm hand.

Gaining confidence

As a child I lack confidence in part through my disabilities but very much to do the miss-mash between my developmentally disabled side and the rest of me, feeling very much like an alien trapped in a world that neither understood me or would allow me to be myself as much as I tried to adapt.

One thing that did  work for me oddly enough was being taught to swing from a rope  that was on a climbing frame which I had never climbed.

In fact my parents I feel were too timid and just projected fear as the response to the very idea.

However at school they got me on that frame starting from the bottom and even crawling along the top and then introduced the rope to me!

It was scary but having found a way to grip it well, I leaned to climb it and swing rope between my legs going form side to side and then to swing and get on the other side of the frame to climb.

They made a stronger child out of me

It did me the world of good  and is one of my fondest memories of childhood PE.
