Presentation december

So we moved through November including that cold spell where things were at minus One degrees during the day and you really appreciated the fleecy JimJams overnight as things the temperatures just dropped.

I almost got Xmas wrapped here with cards although I cut back a bit and presents which reminds me that we have the Christmas Beano special to get through, a sixty-eight page edition which I usually tend to keep.

I'd need a warehouse if I was to do that with the regular editions!

I came out gender fluid at Reddit in November which is funny kind of a place but the sub reddit has decent respectful still a child friendly  talk in way that Similar Worlds, the Experience Project replacement doesn't and why I ditched one account for good.

Art credit "differentspelling" Reddit: @/r/peanuts based on a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving.

They draw that as "themselves"  but it could just as well of been me, a gender fluid assigned as boy self who identifies as "sissy" and likes wearing skirts.

Talking of, I don't tend to buy heaps of skirts not least cos for one thing you've got to store them and just how many are you seriously going to wear given I do often wear shorts too but I did get this.

It's a sixteen and a half inch length Camel Thompson kilt skirt which stays in the respectable range less likely to show anything best not  bridging that gap between mini and midi length which looks smart.

I just love wearing it.

It won't be so long before Christmas and the New Year so with that we'll pause.

Gender and me

In the era of my childhood somethings were different and one was that for ideas that are more talked about today their wasn't many words available to described them and indeed a key number of terms we use today just had no equivalents back then.

That made the process of thinking and talking about them difficult because you literally didn't have the language for it.

There always was something 'different' about me compared to my peers and if we were to write this in mathematical language  where B would equal Boy (and Male) and G would equal Girl (and Female) I'd be B` relating to but not being identical to B.

I loved my school uniform similar to this except the shirt was grey and the sweater was red and wearing my shorts, wearing them way past junior school even into adulthood even and while I was curious about girls uniforms never really had a jealous wanting for them.

The thing really was I felt more feminine loving to do girls things and to share girl spaces sometimes more than some girls even in a simple way of putting it I wanted to do more female things in boys school uniform.

This didn't mean I may not of preferred to had the option of wearing a girls uniform but rather it wasn't about the clothes so much as the sense of being feminine and being seen and respected as such whatever I was wearing.

In the language we use today, I was exhibiting some gender fluid traits that were tolerated more in girls than boys (plus some girls do wear shorts in school today) that were frowned upon not so much by the school but by other adults and other children who had invested a lot in their own gender roles and were not prepared to have their system interrupted by a gender-fluid feminine biological boy at the time.

In some respects being a gender fluid feminine boy was a perfectly good and natural thing that in other cultures is more accepted to the point they do even accept a third category but in ours especially in the recent past the only acceptance you could get is by presenting by whatever means as a girl, often the most stereotypical one dimensional form too.

When talking about this time, I feel the that expression 'gender fluid boy' and 'feminine' boy were the best descriptions of the life I lived then even though I did experiment with wearing skirts and dresses and mainly wear them today.

There is a side of me that is more a cross between being a Tom Boy and a Jane Girl which is I do wear boys school shorts mainly with girls socks and sometimes with traditional boys socks from time to time that is a legacy from boyish childhood for things like walking or 'rougher play' which is a part of that gender fluidity.

Today I am happiest go accept being a sissy gurl and to be referred to as one as it's the one term that has real currency that covers that difference between being masculine which I don't have much of and the way my feminine side is too different to be mature adult female never mind some of the more submissive traits I have.

On gender fluidity

Melodie was a person who I followed at Experience Project but left shortly before it closed and recently at one site she posted this:

I also support the allowance and teaching of gender fluidity.  like as girls are taught it is okay for them to wear  boys articles of clothing the same should be for boys to wear articles of girls clothing.  Clothing is only used to hide our nakedness, nothing else..

Boys should be able to wear skirts and dresses as freely as girls can wear boys denim pants and flannel shirts..  Moms can start off slowly with skirts or skorts to get their sons accustomed to them then later introduce them to dresses.  Boys and men too used to wear dresses (TUNICS) and skirts, look at the paintings from the early greeks and romans.

BY today's standards a tunic or dress would be  appropriate.  I agree that boys would need to be taught how to wear them the same as girls so as not to expose themselves.  My mom taught me how to wear dresses so I would not expose my panties to others, to keep my knees together and so forth.  If there are any mothers and fathers here on this forum think about exposing your sons to gender fluidity.  It will bring about a more equal society.

Gender fluidity is a thing I know because it is what I have and do believe a fair few other boys have too and that can run into gender variant by present standards presentation and it is time we were able to just be us.

The Feminine Boy thing that I identify with is not about "being a girl", transitionally socially of not medically as a female nor is about being a male submissive with tropes around being "made to be a girl" which is kink based

It is simply about being who you are as physically a boy but whose gender expression, identity and presentation is where ever that personally takes you.

With me it is clear there is a lot of little sissy gurl in my gender based identity and it's stupid to think of denying it for a "right on" take or a quiet life.

It's just me.

A little rant

I don't know how others feel but I am tired of hearing boys can't do this or wear that.

Boys can too wear dresses and skirts.

Boys can too wear panties and slips.

Boys can too be allowed to express their feelings.

Today Girls are allowed to do all of the above and they are allowed to dress completely as boys, ie pants, shirts, and boxers yet still today boys are discriminated against if they wish to wear a dress or skirt.

The boys who do are called a whole host of names that are not only degrading to the boys but females as well. IT is like being a girl is something that should be considered less then their male counterparts.

Just like the "N" word for blacks is no longer in dictionaries the term "SISSY"* or "FAG" should be taken out of the dictionaries.

To me WE need to make the use of what a gender wears not be included as to that person but see him or her as another human who just has and expresses their gender in a way that makes sense to them.

* Sissy as an insult should be removed, sissy gurl as a gender idenity being too feminine for a girl and insufficient masculine by a wide margin to be any kind of boy I feel should stay.

Our responsibilities as Sissy Gurls

I saw this manga drawing a few days ago and liked it a lot although I had I been any good at drawing because what is is about is showing sensitivity to how as a feminine but biological boy is perceived in his new role sharing spaces among the other girls.

I think one of most important things is having respect for your inner feminine side, that's to say you don't put him in crass or otherwise crude situations if you wish to hold your own in the company of those born and raised as girls in whose world we are moving albeit as biological boys who dress more like girls.

Those of us who are sissy gurls can't just demand the right to accepted and be granted it; we may have to earn our right to be wear our uniforms as part of being regarded as the feminine gurls we truly feel.

It's also important to understand females have spent ages fighting discrimination in the home, in school and in work.

Gurls of our sort arguably need to both accept and embrace that same struggle fighting with our genetic sisters  for equal treatment in the workplace and supporting those who even in today's world get a bullet in the head for supporting girls education as fundamental human right.

If you can, learn about those struggles and support our female counterparts in practical ways.

The path to our acceptance isn't easy but we need to take responsibility for making it as smooth as possible.

The Uniform Debate

To me this whole what uniform should you wear debate is really stupid cos in reality there are two uniforms in the traditional system and all people like need to be able to do is to make a consistent choice so our peers know what to expect.

The modern girls uniform has enough variation within it taking in girls cut trousers as well as skirts and shorts that for us given we just don't like trousers then the only need select between shorts which for biological form reasons need to be boys or skirts.

I can do either without any dysphoria as for us we're not transsexual and is more about our freedom to express our femininity as sissy gurls which is gender expression although I feel it is better to spend our time "out" skirted not least in school for a term to enable your form to adjust from "You what" to just "so what" and accepting you as the feminine gurl you are.

The duality of gender in me

Having written a bit of an introduction last month which given the sluggish nature of the internet around here I thought I would write something about the duality of being as it affects how I am.

This is a fairly straightforward gender typical set of presentations of the sort I was used to in infants and juniors many moons ago.

Girls wore skirts (or dresses) and boys like me wore short trousers which back then believe me were short and at our school it was a fairly simple uniform with no caps and blazers and we did were dress shirts (or blouses for girls) rather than polo tops.

That presentation is fairly free of gender stereotypes other than the whole skirts/short trousers thing where girls in time become able to wear trousers and parental ("he's big boy now") pressure pushed older boys also into (long) trousers.

To be honest I had no big issue with with wearing short trousers and still do but I positively hate wearing long ones and did like to wear skirts too.

That was an issue then and even for a number today with fairly gender neutral uniforms that still is an issue.

Why not make skirts or skorts an option for both boys and girls?

As someone who is very much mentally a child the way I present is more in line with actual children, never "sexy" or "edgy"

All of that is gender presentation, the way you express it through dress but you may express it through play but how that balance between my masculine core and the feminine side alters in real time affecting how I see and feel things too.

It's not like you have a switch between the two but they move and blend making me, well me.

I'm just a sissy gurl really not a transgender.

Placing Tammy in Scouting

A childhood that had things denied leads to complications down the line and in so far as scouting in general is concerned it had although I do intend to write a specific entry around that.

Gender and Gender spaces in that era two created issues and from the opposite angle increased a natural sense of curiosity of knowing of but being in the things you were never a part of.

I knew of Cubs and I knew girls who were were Brownies and know of their older siblings who were Guides and Scouts but just where I stood, which pulled more at me as the expression of that child who wanted to be in scouting was never really resolved.

In the modern world more is being done to try to accommodate children who were like I was, falling between two stools.

Uniform itself is a bit less rigid but to be honest most of the time I'd of sooner of been given the option of wearing a Brownies uniform for anything other than rugged hiking because I am feminine.

That was who Tammy always was and should of been inducted into scouting as.
