Be the doll!

A few well-being issues today, scratch that, since the weekend so it's gonna be short and sweet.

I like playing although there are times when other events do rather take over that you can do little about, they may be craft kits, lego, which in it's original form was only limited by your own imagination rather than the vast amounts of movie and tv tie-in sets they've issued over the last fifteen or so years.

There are those things we hug and involve in stories we act out such as our teddy bears, hello kitties and dolls.

Dolls do matter for gurls, as it's often our springboard to seeing what who looks may be like and where we might wear them as soft pastel outfits wouldn't do for fetching the coal in or doing a bit of gardening as much as we might feel like a million dollars dressed like that.

We may experiment with hair fashions too and a vast array of accessories but you know where it ends up for many of us?

Before you know it, we work on becoming the doll and didn't we just want that from our drab pasts, a total change so let's make 2026, the hear of being the dolly we love, upping our femming!

Dress up and play

I'm technically away this week so obviously you do have to think a bit about what to pack cos you can't take everything with you not least when, like me you have carry it on and off the train with all the luggage restrictions it brings.

Given there's a mixture of more child-like things I'll be doing even if may have to do a few more grown up bits it's best to have a more mix and match set of things that can be worn in a variety of ways.

That does include gingham dresses apart from short pleated skirts and long sock of both the just under the knee and over the knee variety which as a sissy gurl really are so so me.

The other element is of course play although play with me because of my past would of included cowboys and indians and cap guns to play at firing in imaginary stories.

I'd love a modern girls dress up set for being a cowgirl with a leather waistcoat, boots, neckerchief, and hat I could play with others at.

Play with me is less stereotypical than some but in the end it's all girls play and this gurl loves her playtime .

Being an Edwardian Gurl

I find the past interesting not least looking at past fashions at our local Museum  in this bit of the Midlands and little girl fashions is one subsection of  that.

Sears of Chicago, Illinois had this to offer in 1914 what British people would instinctive call the Edwardian era cos they define things by the Monarch on the Throne but I think you can spot some timeless elements like the collars, relative simplicity of the dresses and the Ribbon in your head, something that's making quite a comeback over here in the UK in the last few years.

The Bloomers look really charming!
Meanwhile, this side of atlantic  near the end of World War One, you can some complete outfits it's the frocks * and head wear that get my attention like the Straw Hat, like I've never worn one in my entire life.

I could just picture meeting a group of similar attired children at a Summer Party out of doors back then as a little sissy gurl.

The Edwardian era was one of change of styles from those that went back toward the 18th Century to after 1910 when the more streamlined Sailor based look came including navy Gym Tunics which remain a part of schoolgirl uniform today.

The site link below is actually pretty interesting for documenting those changes and even has colouring pages to print off and colour!
(*=In the form of English they speak here, a Frock is a woman's dress or gown)

I'd love to of experienced dressing up all Edwardian as a sissy gurl!

Adult little gurl presentation

This blog has always been a broad blog in terms of its coverage being more about me and my interests so it's entirely fitting to talk a little about adult little gurl presentation cos we see so much of more adult sissy presentations.

Generally given as an adult little gurl, I am a sissy who feels and acts more like a child that means my clues about who to dress are more like an actual child's even if somethings may need to be made specifically for me or involving finding suitable near equivalents in bigger sizes so I may wear something more like this.

For as long as I have lived though I have always loved pretty dresses that emphasize my shoulders, nice rounded collars and bows.

Spending a day playing with the girls was always what as a sissy I always wanted to do even to the point of playing dress up with them.

It's just so me.

Being with the girls as a Gurl

Going back in the gender divided world I grew up in you had to be in one group or the other and if you chose "other" then who knew just what the terms might be.

Sometimes it was more like that.

You could play with girls but you were not going to be treated as if you are a girl because they saw you as a "sissy" and never a "girl in a boys body".

And just to remind you you'd be expected to do anything they said so an early age female dominance just became a part of your sissy life.

To be with them required you altered your presentation.

They didn't want anything "foreign" in view so at times it could get more like this.

Secretly Tammy loved it.
