Being an Edwardian Gurl

I find the past interesting not least looking at past fashions at our local Museum  in this bit of the Midlands and little girl fashions is one subsection of  that.

Sears of Chicago, Illinois had this to offer in 1914 what British people would instinctive call the Edwardian era cos they define things by the Monarch on the Throne but I think you can spot some timeless elements like the collars, relative simplicity of the dresses and the Ribbon in your head, something that's making quite a comeback over here in the UK in the last few years.

The Bloomers look really charming!
Meanwhile, this side of atlantic  near the end of World War One, you can some complete outfits it's the frocks * and head wear that get my attention like the Straw Hat, like I've never worn one in my entire life.

I could just picture meeting a group of similar attired children at a Summer Party out of doors back then as a little sissy gurl.

The Edwardian era was one of change of styles from those that went back toward the 18th Century to after 1910 when the more streamlined Sailor based look came including navy Gym Tunics which remain a part of schoolgirl uniform today.

The site link below is actually pretty interesting for documenting those changes and even has colouring pages to print off and colour!
(*=In the form of English they speak here, a Frock is a woman's dress or gown)

I'd love to of experienced dressing up all Edwardian as a sissy gurl!

Dandy Summer Special 2016

It's been a bright and sunny weekend as we moved towards Whitsun and from that point on thoughts turn to hols, that big boyhood treat that mixed sun, sandcastles, ice creams, excursions out and fun in parks and amazement arcades with loud sounds and megatons of action.

There was always one accessory to all that back then and it was the Summer Special that your favourite comics tended to have such as Warlord, the Beano and naturally, The Dandy.

This week this years new-old Dandy Summer Special comes out with our favourite characters like Winker Watson still in Greytowers after all these years that I so identify with as a forever boy in his grey shorts.

I'm so looking forward to reading it!

Disability and Discipline

There is one subject that I'd like to talk about on this blog which I do have views on.

While good arguments can be made for punishing people for things they could do but didn't especially if they had negative consequences for others, I do feel it is wrong to punish somebody for something that they had little or no control over such as stammering, being unable to write neatly, forgetting because of memory problems and so on.

This was something I did see occasionally in school and quite often in the workplace where it was just presumed everybody there had no disabilities and from that there were no excuses period for not being able or struggling with a task.

What as individual you needed was either support in the the task or or some extra tuition to master a task on a one to one basis which was something I had to fight tooth and nail for even at the risk of alienating some colleagues who though this help for me was somehow a threat or  unfairness to them.

Not  work reviews that seemed to be every other week sapping your confidence or any chastisement that if we'd of just refused to do right would of been justified and disability shouldn't prevent you for getting it.

The blossoms are out!

Spring has finally sprung here at  with what Tammy's might be a warm mini season this weekend which will be welcomed  after last weekends damp squid so the layers can come off and the gingham dresses go on.

This entry is very much hot of the press as I went out this morning first thing with an idea in mind for this blog entry, put my shoes on and took a few pictures. One I liked was that of our cherry blossoms as I just love the shade of pink they have being a highlight of year when they emerge.

I'm fortunate this part of the North-west Midlands has lovely countryside even woods in walking distance I can just visit and just spent time just watching nature at its own more less hectic timescale.

Reflections on the early years of Sissification

This week we are going back in a lot of ways to the time around a few years into this blog where I was exploring more around myself during a period where things were less buttoned up online so people like Mistress916 would be on experience project the no longer with us open house of discussing anything, Miss D was on Blogger talking about and inspiring sissies as was Miss Cassie to do so with lots of others quite publicly.

While for a variety of reasons these sites were to go an in an age where courting the likes of Apple to carry Apps and where people like PayPal have issues with who and what you wish to do transitions with even if they're legal, the legacy of those days lives on and through some of us.

One thing they had us doing was experimenting with different looks requiring us to write in and post photographs of ourselves for critical and analytical comments and further suggestions to mine while getting us to open up about how we felt about that person in the picture and what that revealed of our real true nature.

In the spirit of this, I'm putting a picture of Tammy the sissy gurl  up as as Mistress916 always said a sissy should not be be a wasted thing because they are a thing of beauty.

Here I am in some blue satin frilly panties looking the part with hur sissy stick just detectable for other sissies and mistresses who may view the blog.

I am sure Miss D would be proud of the sissy gurl I became when I first encountered and corresponded with Her when just over six years ago I agreed to work with her exploring my sissieness as a dominant with her in charge.

With love from Tammy.

Creating Little Headspace

I'm a little late starting this entry cos I've been Poorly over the last few days but I had noticed a few people talking about Headspace which I know I had talked about in February.

For some it begins and ends with just 'the play' for others it may extend into dressing more like the age of the 'child within' while do so with say dresses that wouldn't be far removed  from that of a young girl at a party or play clothes like dungarees or for some school wear.

Being a little sissy gurl I can wear short trousers and for sorts of playing they may be less revealing but gurls like me belong in the dresses associated with girls such as a traditional pinafore dress or gymslip.

I think the first thing I will say is this space is very much as you, yourself make it and you do need bring something to being in it even if you may be fortunate to have either a Caregiver do things with you or you go to any number of littles activities where organizers do lay on activities because you're the one  'doing' them to getting into that sense of being more child-like.

Because anyone for a host of reasons isn't able  - and I do understand - to get out either as much as they like or at all due to lack or disabilities perhaps doesn't mean you are unable to  but you'll need to create them where you are.

The second thing is, to do this we need to remove as much 'groan up' mental background noise as we can, not just technology (sometimes  super intrusive) but also anything that distract us from playing in the way as kids we did.

If you can add a few touches like cute 'throws' (aka Covers) over furniture, I'd suggest bringing out the one thing you loved from your childhood first and putting it in your room unless you're fortunate to have a already set up play space.

It may be a favourite plushie, a teddy or doll you hugged, talked to and created adventures with. I can't speak for you but you may of played at being a Vet, a Doctor or an Astronaut with them but we're going back in time and buried away are just the memories you need to get back to where you were.

Some people like something a little less imagination centred but fun nonetheless such as watching a Disney movie or cartoon series that they find takes them back.

The other approach may appeal to those of us who like difficulties aside to do art to draw, colour or paint but allowing our 'inner child' to tell us and in way do the activity that relates to their interest and age range which is something personally I feel matters for your own well-being.

Some find littles role playing games and sites helpful in getting into that 'role' opening up your inner child's thoughts and expressing them with others.

The important thing here is you do create that space to go back, enjoying the experience.

My panties matter

To me making that move from scratchy itchy boy Y fronts  is one of the most important things in embracing feminization it’s a daily reminder of your femininity and your role as a sissy gurl aka a Jane Girl. I love the feeling of soft satin panties rubbing against my delicate skin.

One of your first feminization steps as a sissy gurl, will be to replace all your old male underwear with cute frilly pink coloured panties that you must wear everyday!

Wearing panties became part of my daily routine.

Let's face it silk knickers make you feel like queen of the sissy gurls, they give you a luxurious, sexy and very feminine look. Silk material is naturally elastic and will hug your curves, giving you a more feminine shape.

The smooth, sweet and shiny texture of silk panties is definitely what we need being very soft on your skin, so you can still be comfortable.

I love how they envelop and caress my boy parts as silk and nylon giving you so much more of constantly knowing you are in girl's undies feeling as they are encased in pretty frilly lace.

Complete with a bows, my knickers announce to all my sissy gurl nature whither or not they are over short trousers, skirts or dresses.

They belong on sissies like me and after a while you start to find you are wishing to explore more of being that sissy.

A sissy’s way of thinking is different from a typical man’s. Sissies are very submissive and willing in a sexual way. They really want attention and approval from someone dominant.

To become more like a sissy, you need to start thinking and acting like one. That means being more submissive, sexually willing, and emotionally expressive. You also need to want attention and approval from someone dominant, but you might already fantasize about this.

The next crucial step in this process is to fully embrace and embody your sissy identity. You must begin to see yourself as a sexual object, existing solely for the pleasure and use of others. It may be a challenging task, but it is essential if you truly want to become a proficient sissy.
