Christmas changed is here

Christmas got made after the messy one of 2022 and this years events that impacted many of the rituals as you notice that missing face, the usual conversation around wrappng, card writing and the like.

So it was different but with some certainties which showed in presents.

Somethings are repeats from original childhood such as the Dandy annual or reprints from classic Beano and Dandy comic strips making perfect sense in the world of this adult sissy gurl

Today's Beano is almost a magazine comic mash up with much in the modern child's world where for some of us including children comics that just humour still cut it so rather than getting this years Beano annual I had the Christmas Special, a good representation of the modern Beano.

We wrote about the cd version of enlarged classic Beatles 1962-1966 compilation but I had from Dad the record version which has the extra tracks on a third disc.

I had this compilation of Erasure a very popular synth pop duo that covers all their hits and is fairly up to date too.

I bought the singles but never got an album of theirs until this was obtained from Mr Claus on Monday.

It's been absolutely ages since there's been any Moody Blues records here, at least the mid 1980's and this two lp set has some of their best moments in chronological order which will put that aright

Classical music is something I like and as I had been getting some brand new records I was given a copy of this classic 1970 account on vinyl which will replace the record I bought in 1979 which disappeared when much of my classical music collection got replaced by cds.

I tend to forget things so this very vintage Winnie the Pooh A5 dairy will no doubt prove most useful to note visits and things to remember to do

I had some money and vouchers for the New Year which I can spend on some new clothes but while it was difficult emotionally I was glad we had Christmas again.

Christmas be a coming sissy gurl!

Christmas it must be said can be trying time for the kind of sissy that others don't know or chose not to recognize when it comes from things like not using your "sissy" name, having to spend time with family very drab to getting presents that just aren't what sissies like you really would love.

And yet you love the idea behind Christmas, the spending of time together, exchanging cards and gifts and for those who are more little sissies  like me everything around Santa Claus, singing carols and little girl dresses and presents.

There will be a pause of sorts on this blog as I have things to do just before Christmas Day and that day this year lands upon when normally I'd be finalizing the usual Wednesday post.

*** Have a HAPPY SISSY GURL CHRISTMAS ***

Christmas is coming

After last weeks music post we'll start the countdown toward Christmas as I work the blogging schedule as I'm usually pretty busy but i think it should be two full posts and something on or around Christmas Day.
At the start of last week, our Christmas tree came which in this age of elf and safety had to planted and wired by people with certificates not sophisticats lest somebody either climb up it or try stealing the bulbs whilst turned on.

The people here have a collection to  pay for the tree which is as well as we do want something like this at Christmas and keeps the lights that have to put on it.
I think every town and estate should have one.

Obviously it isn't going to be the same as Mom's not around anymore as messed up as last Christmas was with both of us very unwell although I have got daddy to bring out the Christmas tree and the Nativity scene Mom and I so looked forward to setting up plus things like the milk and a Turkey have been sorted out.

One of the last things we did together was wave to Santa last year as he came around in his sleigh.

It's just the memories of going around the shops looking for gifts, trying out clothes, seeing Santa Claus on the district shopping centre and walking to visit family and friends with presents and cards that I'll miss.

I was always Mummy's gurl.

Courtney's Clean Caps

It's been a cold snowy weekend so I restored a post conceived in 2012 as it does belong on here.

It’s not gone unnoticed by me that many of you appreciate various kinds of caption sites where images are added to text often around themes by the those irritatingly funny LolCats ones that festoon most of the social networks in their repostings to your wall or for us G+ people the Stream to trans related caption sites.

I greatly admire anyone who can put together a funny storyline with chosen images  well but there is a TG caption site that I really love that is a good fit for what this site is more about and it’s called Courtney’s Clean Captions.

One of the first things you’ll notice at it is the clear unfussy layout that loads up well and the other is she’s into keeping her captions ‘clean’ so were talking G to 13+ on the ratings  so while they may make the odd head subjectwise turn, there’s nothing really graphic going on.

I”m not a prude my any means but I don’t generally enjoy the more graphic – especially visually – sorts with bits on display for little real reason other than titillation so if you’re interested here’s a link.

Advent 2023

While I'm wrapped up with fleecy top and bottoms with hot cocoa with the minus temperatures here waiting for the postman to call collect a parcel return as Amazon goofed up totally and being smartphone free return options as most now use QR codes at the collection point it kind of reminds you we have only so many days to go before Christmas.

Usually like most littles I countdown the days and traditionally that involves an Advent calendar with chocolate to be revealed as the days get fewer and fewer.

This years is a little different for being that of the arch nemesis of Christmas, the Grinch who as you'll remember tried to steal Christmas but included with this is a Happy Christmas greeting.

Perhaps the Grinch gets the point?

In Brownies you may make a "Reverse Advent Calendar" which focuses more on what you can give rather than what we may wish to receive or a wreath you could put on your front door.

Anyway get set to enjoy the countdown yourself!

The remaking of an old friend

On November 10th, as we were gearing up to Remembrance Day after the release of the "new" single Now And Then a week before two very different versions of albums we've known for all our leaves appeared in both vinyl record and compact disc.

Originally coming out in 1973 the Beatles 1962-1966 and 1967-1970 compilations known to a number of us as the RED and BLUE albums were either gateways into their music growing up in a post Beatles pop world or neat resumés for original fans.

What made them so essential was they took all the hit singles and added a good selection of notable tracks from their albums in chronological order capturing well the essence of the Beatles appeal and their musical development plus  added the lyrics for every song on the inner sleeves.

Short of putting them in a box with a glossy booklet wrapped up with ribbon they could not of been better so over fifty years they've always been around in a variety of formats from records, cassette and 8 track tapes to the compact disc and being given copies for many of us was a rite of passage musically.

One thing they cannot be ignored is however the stereo mixes especially of many of the songs on RED are rather primitive with vocals and backing at the far sides of the stereo image and nothing in the middle which doesn't work too well on headphones.

Compared with today there were only a handful at best of individual tracks to create a stereo mix from and in any event that just wasn't the main aim in how the recording session was done as in the early sixties especially mono was king with most recordings being played on mono portable record players apart from the more well to do grown ups who bought classical, show and film soundtracks who quickly brought into stereo sound.

Used initally in assembling the Get Back film and then in the new edition of Revolver last year using Artificial Intelligence so it would "learn" all the elements which then gives you lots of seperate tracks you can remix this has been applied to every song on RED for this edition.

Thus for the first time ever we get "true stereo" Love Me Do from the original singles version too and She Loves You which have only ever existed in mono.

Many of those irritating hole in middle vocals on one side mixes have been redone totally and even generally good stereo mixes like Ticket To Ride have the drive reduced in stereo album mixes restored that the original mono 45 had.

Yesterday's string quartet is now spread across both channels which as long term classical music fan I can say is how they appear.

In the main this works and especially well on the Rubber Soul tracks which bolds well for the much looked forward to remixed stereo version of that album easily the worst in stereo in the catalogue.

Observant eyes will have noticed there's more tracks on the rear cover - 34 not 26 - which allows for a better selection from albums as the beatles generally didn't have singles on albums unless they came out before or were tied in things like the films.

Overall it works well on compact disc as amazingly no cd ever had the album as originally issued with stereo track issued in mono and others in very poor echy laden remixes from the 80's.

I'm not tossing my vinyl original out but this is a great new envisioned version.

Remembrance thoughts

There are some things that are more constant core things with me and one is the aims, practise and ethics of scouting.

I enjoy a bonfire night as much as anyone but the other thing GirlGuiding is involved in around this time of year is Remembrance  which will be marked today with Armistice Day and in two days time on Remembrance Sunday.

Having taken part in Parades it has a bit of a sombre nature because we think about what men (and women) did both at home and on the battlefield to preserve the liberty, freedom and way of life we have and the sacrifice of lives given to have succeeded in it against great odds in WW2.

It is important for people, especially children to know about this so in guiding with the help of people such as the Royal British Legion, girls are taught about this as in a good number of schools they are too.

This years theme is Service which includes the services of all in scouting such as GirlGuiding not just in the services but at home helping on the home front and recognizes that in that service it isn't that people died but many more bear the scars of injury both physical and mental

Here we see Brownies at the cenotaph as many will this weekend ,placing their wreath upon it as a symbol of our respect and appreciation of what those people, often young gave for us and our country.

We will remember our war dead.

A little spooky Barbie fun

Well did you enjoy your Halloween fellow sissies?

Was something more like this your idea of the costume to be wearing, classic black witch with hat to quite feminine.

Ken today is thankfully very much Barbies sissy plaything dressed in pastels, learning to enjoy being second to Her.

Did you ever feel like dressing him up in a dress or classic girls swimsuit, giving them a new more suited gurlish name like Kerry or Kimmie creating adventures that only you'd come up with cos secretly it was you who wanted in on them?

I'll bet you did -  I sure did!

Halloween

It's that time of the year again when things get spooky, some of us go to Halloween parties having fun  but it is also very much a time we become more visible too as a time when many don costumes of all sorts actually aids us blending in.

It's a time of less plain sissy dressing but really taking things out to the full most feminine  extent such as "playing" Alice or Dorothy in a simple plain blue or gingham dress and if you were challenged to it  wouldn't you just go weak at the knees and cave in to it?

Perhaps a lifestyle change is just what a closeted sissy needs in hur life?

You might like a number like that with sleeves, white hold up stockings and some pretty frilly panties on.

We might just take a sissy gurl like me who can move between a more child-like little sissy and a more grown up adult sissy side and put me in a lockable pvc halloween dress and engage with the more sexual fetish side side.
With the first two dresses pushing me into wearing panties like these underneath them just might be the ticket.

Top it all off with a traditional fireworks display and halloween couldn't be more fun.

Brownie scouting Autumn 2023 style

Some years I have put out a post around scouting at this time of year simply because the sights and smells of Autumn and the activities tie in so much to my experiences to the point it brings it all back in all the complications being me involves.

At one level the basic complication is just which section of the movement my little side belongs and today while girls can join scouts which has now totally ceased to be a boys thing, girl guiding is still for girls although they do accept those who medically might be boys but seeing themselves as girls are living as girls.

Given I don't identify as a girl any more than a boy that leaves me and those like me out in the cold.

Fortunately in the new-old world as a age dysphoric sissy, I can side step much of that and follow the basic rules and principals of guiding which are not so dissimilar to cub so for what would be more den or ceremonial purposes go with a wither wearing a brown skirt or adopt a suitably sized traditional brownie tunic but wear grey short trousers when hiking.

What Brownies is about is set out well in this illustration from a 1980's Brownie guide book you'd have when you joined

You may not see much emphasis on it today but Brownies did deal with the issue of looking after you nails, so they are short, attractive but not done in way that has as many ridges from bites than mountains!

As a sissy nail care does matter and doesn't it make sense to talk about it anyway?

As in Cubs, you EARN badges but where you put them differs and you need to sow them on so this handy little guide from the era of the classic brown tunic helps.

Exploring with your very own little canopy above you, looking out for all the mammals, birds and insects around you wasn't that what you loved to and you can today, having adventures.

That's why I've readopted this bit of past as being part of full and now open me.

Party time

Things will be a bit different over the weekend as it is halloween so I'll be away at party for adult littles, biological "girls", transgenders and sissies dedicated to spooky events as in quizzes, arts & crafts and tea.

You'll have decorations up.

Plus you all get to do things like Pumpkin carving which is a load of fun

Being in public even if you present along the sissy range can be nerve wracking remembering the first time I ever went to an event with others, not quite knowing what to wear and to do so you look towards an older sister type person to help you through it, especially if like me you're autistic too so tend to be a bit clueless socially at best.

I'm sure in my best frillies it'll all be okay.

Drawing a line under the two halves

Hello there!

Apart from marking the children's tv show Blue Peter's 65th anniversary on Friday, after much deliberation I have adjusted the blog title to reflect the fact I am univocally a sissy gurl and nothing else.

There is a intermingling between the twin elements in me, the side that holds on to the more rooted in the past  comfort from child like things and rituals and the post adolescent sexually mature side.

There are times presently the majority where being totally in that more child-like state playing is where I am out and the innocence of my thoughts are there and totally deserves protecting in such scenes from anything remotely adult.

There are others where as vulnerable and immature in some ways I am to the point I may be holding a stuffie I will dress in a more sexy way to the point I am looking for you to see me as sexual and wanting such sexual play.

They may be more an element of mix and match but it'll always be clear which headspace I am in.

Yes Singles and thoughts on the vinyl revival

There was a time when vinyl records were expected to be just a memory removed from shops as a new item with just few used ones traded more as mementos of the past in "Olde World" shops.

Equally many of us expected and went through the process of converting our record and tape collections to compact discs as I recall going on Friday afternoons with bags of records to part exchange for new cds or credits for any they held.

By the mid nineties I had just a few left usually where a title hadn't been issued on cd (some early Rolling Stones titles were not) or where I wanted mixes not issued on cd such as the stereo Beatles first four UK albums and the original stereo Help and Rubber Soul.

But in the main all new titles and back catalogue was now bought on the cd thus all my Yes progressive rock lps went for compact discs either regular ones or the audiophile issues on labels such as Mobile Fidelity and Audio Fidelity.

Things as you may of noticed are different today.

Your record shop has a lot of brand new records, not just old classic rock or soul but todays artists too because many have rediscovered over twenty years the vinyl record and buy them.

I haven't been immune from that virus having upgraded my record playing equipment and buying brand new discs and rebuying some favourites from the past, hearing more of the playing than I did back in the day.

That you see is where Yes Singles fits in, a single disc of single edits that capture them from 1969 to 1984 which is really where my interest in this prog rock band stopped as much as I did get Big Generator on vinyl in 1987.

The full track list is here and if you know this music, you can see why I'd want it.

1 Your Move (Single Version)

2 Starship Trooper: Life Seeker (Single Version)

3 Roundabout (Single Version)

4 America (Single Edit)

5 And You and I (Part One) [promo Radio Edit]

6 Soon (Single Edit)

7 Sound Chaser (Single Edit)

8 Wonderous Stories (Single Version)

9 Don't Kill the Whale (Single Version)

10 Into the Lens (Single Version)

11 Owner of a Lonely Heart (Single Version)

12 Leave It (Single Remix)

While some are not whole works - and with Yes some do run to over 20 minutes! - it reminds you of their achievements in their single forms that are otherwise stuck on many pieces of seven inch plastic so I got this on Friday, day of release.

It was cleaned before playing and it does sound great and just hearing Roundabout and Wonderous Stories on vinyl takes me back years.

Recommended  even if you may want Classic Yes for the full length versions of some tracks.

R.I.P. Sanriotown.com

My adventures online started in the mid 2000's and one rabbit hole I soon found myself going further down was very much the kawaii so it was not so long before I bumped into Hello Kitty online from many unofficial sites and blogs connected to all things Sanriotown.

What it offered was gaming, all sanrio themed with Chococat and Hello Kitty herself, forums for endless discussion of everything Sanrio and beyond, post cards you could email and even blogging.

It also offered the ability to have your own very kawaii email with a choice of domains so I opted to have a @hellokitty.com email.

It was the ideal place for that younger than my years Littles me to play in a more child-like environment.

Thus there was a finality when on Monday September 18th I had this email.

"Dear SanrioTown Users,

We are writing to inform you about a significant upcoming change regarding your SanrioTown email account (“Your Account”).

After careful consideration and evaluation of our business operations, we regret to inform you that we have decided to cease the operations of SanrioTown. As a result, the SanrioTown website, Your Account and the relevant services that we have been providing to you will no longer be available from November 1, 2023 (“Shutdown Date”).

We understand the significance of email communication in both personal and professional capacities and assure you that this decision has not been taken lightly. Over the years, we have appreciated your loyalty and trust in SanrioTown, and we want to ensure a smooth transition during this period.

Therefore, we encourage you to save the chat history and any essential contacts or information of Your Account. On and after the Shutdown Date, you will no longer be able to access or retrieve any data in Your Account.

To facilitate the transition, we recommend that you take the following steps:

1. Backup Your Data: Please ensure that you back up all the essential emails, contacts, and any other important data in Your Account. This will allow you to retain access to the valuable information of Your Account on and after the Shutdown Date.

2. Choose a New Email Service Provider: To continue receiving and sending emails on and after the Shutdown Date, we encourage you to select an alternative email service provider, such as Gmail, Outlook, and Yahoo Mail, among others.

3. Inform Your Contacts: Please notify your contacts about your upcoming email address change to ensure that they can update their records and communications accordingly.

We understand that change can be challenging and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this shutdown may cause you.  Once again, we extend our gratitude for your support and loyalty to SanrioTown over the years. We genuinely value your business and trust that you will find an alternative email service that meets your needs."

For a period there had been issues with the email account being down for months and being locked out too so I had made an account with Gmail but now it seems that playground in the Ether will be no more.

Rather like Tinier Me, Friends Reunited and Experience Project another element of the past sails away to the internet scrapyard.

Summer and Fall

Dodging the rain this weekend I did get out and things are beginning to make that change and I saw this poem that I felt really describes my relationship to this between bit of the seasons.

I thought that was wonderful.

Mental and physical images belong as one

This week something that's essential and yet defining.

Well okay, whoever write that made a mistake in that we don't become women as much as we may approximate them given we are not going for being legal females but the main thing is how we look in our lingerie has to be our sissy gurl selves.

No actual women is perfect physically and the obsession with that comes at a cost both mental and material so there really is no reason for us to go down that rabbit hole just wear what makes you feel good, what feels right.

You're a good gurl.

Now Yearbooks 1973

Last week was different both at home for needing less on due to the very hot weather and of course having a content a bit different from the run of the mill on this blog.

After a brief run with alternative offerings, Now That's What I Call Music returned September 8th to the Yearbook series interestingly bypassing the last 1970's batch and going with 1973 which signals the series will run from 1970 to 1974 rather than opting for 1977 although I'm sure that'll emerge soon.

1973 is a year I know well - possibly even too well - being but a year out of double digits in a year that obviously included religiously watching Blue Peter and John Craven's Newsround where I learned about Skylab, I started to notice I liked girls clothes and a good deal of industrial action took place apart from catching The Sky At Night.

My older brother was a bit of influence musically, as I watched Top Of The Pops with him and he'd play records to me such as Roger Daltrey's (of the Who) Giving It All Away and I'm Free although I had my own suitably "tween" ones.

As with the reminder of this series on cd you have a bare bones folded card 4 cd edition and a book with a short write up on each song and a quiz which is what I opted for while for record fans there is a shorter 3 lp 47 track edition too.

I could easily criticize it for including a few songs that just were not UK hits like Blinded By The Light and Rocky Mountain Way as much as I like Bruce Springsteen and Joe Walsh plus for contractual reasons we don't have David Bowie's RCA era hits which include Drive-in Saturday and Sorrow plus missing out Gary Glitter who had two big number one singles and few others this year.M

We'll take a tour around this set.

Opening the first cd we have the iconic ‘Goodbye Yellow Brick Road’ from Elton John from the amazing double lp of the same name and followed by Paul McCartney & Wings’ Bond theme ‘Live And Let Die’ proof he's got past been seen as an ex-beatle but a serious solo artist, this epic beginning to this journey back to 1973 continues with a run of massive Glam-Rock infused hits from T. Rex, Mud and Alvin Stardust, and #1s from Suzi Quatro, Wizzard, 10cc, ‘Cum On Feel The Noize’ from Slade and Sweet with ‘Blockbuster’.

Pop classics from Gilbert O’Sullivan with the #1 ‘Get Down’, and from Jackson 5, The Osmonds and the re-issued ‘The Laughing Gnome’ from David Bowie lead into some soulful vocalists including Aretha Franklin, Rod Stewart and Gladys Knight & The Pips to complete this first disc.

Disc Two opens with an awe-inspiring run of legendary artists: John Lennon, Bob Dylan, and Paul Simon, plus the debut single from Bruce Springsteen with ‘Blinded By The Light’ and timeless signature releases from Billy Joel with ‘Piano Man’ another great non hit and ‘You’re So Vain’ from Carly Simon that got everybody wondering just who she meant.

Defining tracks from Ike & Tina Turner, Thin Lizzy and Stealers Wheel lead into Rock classics from Faces, Free, Electric Light Orchestra, Status Quo, Joe Walsh, Alice Cooper and Nazareth… and the disc closes with ‘Albatross’ from Fleetwood Mac – a #1 in 1969 and a #2 when re-released in 1973.

A run of stunning ballads kicks off the third disc; Paul McCartney & Wings with ‘My Love’ which was to become a "standard", Roberta Flack with the peerless ‘Killing Me Softly With His Song’, and ‘Always On My Mind’ from Elvis Presley before Diana Ross with Touch Me In The  Morning ushers in an incredible line-up of Soul smashes including from, Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes feat. Teddy Pendergrass, Billy Paul, Barry White, The Temptations, Michael Jackson and ‘Let’s Get It On’ from Marvin Gaye.

In hindsight it is easy to forget just how much great soul music was on the chart from the Atlantic, Motown and Philadelphia International stables.

The final disc is all about more huge Pop smashes, opening with the era-defining ‘The Ballroom Blitz’ from Sweet, second inclusions for Suzi Quatro and Mud, plus Mott The Hoople, Roxy Music, Barry Blue and the debut hit from David Essex, ‘Rock On’. Donny Osmond’s #1 ‘Young Love’ and 1973’s biggest seller - Dawn feat. Tony Orlando’s ‘Tie A Yellow Ribbon...’ lead an Easy-Pop run including massive hits from Shirley Bassey, Perry Como, Olivia Newton-John, Eurovision singles; winner Anne-Marie David, Cliff Richard’s second contest entry, and #1s from Peters & Lee, plus ‘Eye Level’ - the theme to one of the year’s most popular TV shows by the Simon Park Orchestra.

This Yearbook 1973 closes in magnificent style with two of the biggest and most loved Christmas classics of all time – Wizzard with ‘I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday’ and ‘Merry Xmas Everybody’ from Slade.

Back then Christmas hits were a thing and we loved those two.

In the main though when you look at all that it does deliver on those hits we did like, that take us back that year which is really the strength of this set as anthologies of this era back then were either the "soundalike" Hallmark Top of the Pops 12 track selections or ghastly sounding 22 or even 24 track K tel single lps with cut down songs and thin sound to get it all to fit.

I was bought the Top of the Pop's ones which at least sounded better on my portable stereo record player with built on AM radio which lived in my bedroom.

Strongly recommended.

As has become usual, there is a top up three cd set with 60 more hits from 1973 some of which did belong more as hits of the first set than what was included but, hey, there at least here covering everything from pop, soul, glam rock and even French crooners!

Exploration and integration of the Whole Sissy Gurl

This blog is broad in scope which is in most respects its strength for dealing with the whole of being a feminine sissy gurl rather than just reducing it to looks, things connected with gender identity and sexuality.

The flip side of that is the challenge in presenting more overt topics in ways that don't cause issues with blogger or come over needlessly explicit.

There are two sides of being a sissy gurl for me, the first and main one is more around being a little, being more child-like and the second is a bit older, more teen plus side that having been through adolescence, given the opportunity has the drive explore more hur sexual needs  some of which may go more around more adult sides of being a sissy.

We may as well just say that side does come out in terms of sexual fantasies, I do get sexually needy at times which isn't being met by others and that comes out through stimulating a release which gives me a big buzz.

Many who do use their fingers to bring on such feelings but for me one thing is actually my fingers are damaged being swollen though an industrial injury and that the attempt can lead to friction burns.

Thus I have decided to get a "girls" toy that I can control the intensity of and direct to stimulate my sissy clit to orgasm as often as I feel the need to.

Working from the base of my sissy clit it feels fairly natural and is helping me met in enjoyable ways those needs as is working on the acceptance of this whole side, being able to navigate the lane I take a left into and where it doesn't feel right, to take the the right turn knowing each is valid and both are part of the sissy gurl I am.

Rituals in your life

When you talk about this Trans Age thing it may not be obvious that actually it's about the whole life not just say wanting to play with your toy cars, dollies or have a kiddie meal at McDonalds.

It includes stuff like Sunday night bathtime rituals as you were told to take one ready for school (if you were at day school) or having to get one if you boarded and then change into your pj's for cocoa before being told to go to bed at nine or even earlier.

For some of us it may be more rituals with a hint of sissification of a nonsexual sort brought in that we get off on as much as we fidget and protest.

That's the thing, you had all this controlling structure that freed you to just be that gurl and without it I'm just as likely to get self absorbed in something not to take a bath or fix a meal

Those rituals may start at the smallest of things as now you're ONLY to wear panties as you're revealed for who you are  and possibly by command which you now have learned to obey as a proper sissy gurl,

And you're called a Gurl from now on aren't you Good Gurl?

You love it as much as it reminds you painfully of your new reality.
