Play as it was

Despite learning to ape stereotypical "Ugh! you expect ME to like that?" comments complete with actions actually i loved cute stuffies and frilly linen on beds and tables

In era when saying that was likely to see you ostrasized if not assaulted, you learned not merely to keep your mouth shut  but even not show any physical expression of interest never mind actually liking them.

We did play games even if for some of the time you were on the "wrong" side of the playground and even if games were mixed you preferred to play the girls role.

Kiss chase is a traditional playground game similar to tag we played. One player or group is "it" and chases participants of the opposite sex. When a player is caught, they receive a kiss. The caught person then becomes the chaser.

How to Play. Choose Who is "It": One group (traditionally boys or girls) counts to ten while the other group runs away. The Chase: The chasers run to catch a member of the opposing group.

The Catch: Tagging someone requires a quick kiss (usually on the cheek) upon capture.Switching Roles: The person who got caught and kissed now joins the chasing team, or roles swap entirely after everyone is caught

We also played Kiss, cuddle or torture This was simply a game of chases involving boys and girls, usually in the school playground. When caught, the boy would offer the girl a choice: kiss, cuddle or torture.

Boys frequently played war games that involved torture sometimes getting close to seeing the Headmaster given the intensity of them. Actual military interrogation would of only been marginally worse.

I totally hated it.

This sort of more romance based play was more my thing.

Life was simpler then.

Little Sissy's Winter away days

This week we'll go back to last week although it felt more like December  looking at how being away was involving a train journey part of the way before I was kindly given a lift for the reminder stopping off at Tintern Abbey near Chepstow enroute.

It is is a ruin undertaking as can be evidenced from the scaffolding renovation works part structural and part to restore elements lost in previous attempts.

It's pretty big, very much self contained settlement although finding it took a bit of doing as the signing wasn't obvious.

We called in the cafe adjacent to it for a bite to eat as it had been a good while since we'd eaten and I had a "White Monk's Breakfast" which was the local form of the traditional a full bacon and egg "English" fried breakfast that was extremely good.

When we got to the Eleventh Century manor house we were staying at we did explore the extensive grounds there were a lot of snowdrops and daffodils out looking towards the local fields and hills.

That's where I stayed!

Fortunately for sissikins, there were lots of dollies and a forest of pink everything's which was great for getting very little which is something I've been needing to be honest.

I did mention the time seemed different and it was cos it was Christmas and everything was centred around that so we had a tree that was decorated.

Santa came with presents such as a super gurlie activity set with colouring book and green bag plus a little princess was bag and a Christmas box on Christmas eve that had scrumptious amounts of chocolates in it.

There were arts and crafts sessions that included making decorations such as chains, things for the tree such as my Cat one, making place mats for Christmas dinner and so on that was fun.

We did Home Economics, making Mince pies, decorating Ginger biscuits with seasonal art, cup cakes and even making our very own Pizzas from dough so with a great issue with cheese mine was tomato, turkey and ham.

We held games with a twist on musical chairs, quiz's, landing a jelly object on a Christmas tree target and getting a pin on the top of the donkey. The team I was part of came second in the General Knowledge quiz.

Catering was by us and we had a traditional very tasty Christmas Dinner with Christmas pudding  and turkey, ham and salad with chips Boxing day meal. Well we had plenty of turkey and ham so you might as well us it which our parents always did!

It felt like it really was Christmas all over again for this sissy.

Crashed out and playful thoughts

Sometimes the unexpected happens.

After last weeks look into classic cartoons we're away from anything spinning this week although last Friday was rather more like this, crashed out part way talking with your BFF who also did cos we tend to run out of spoons rather quickly.

That said sometimes with the old Windows Laptop that's a bit temperamental having a tendency to switch off suddenly at ten minutes on mains but running fine off batteries until the Battery % amount gets critical  but it does charge the battery up when plugged in to the mains adaptor to 100%.

But when you feel flat there always stuff that really perks you up.

A soft touch dolly in 1970's brownies uniform but don't ask where the knitted hat ended up as I have no idea you can hug and cuddle up to and in the front room there's a more regular 8 inch (20cm) posable dolly on on the shelf looking out.

One LG seems to have a struggle to understand another at their website can indeed live in that mindset, sometimes the odd person has questioned it with me but honestly for some of us it's the most natural thing to the point you're not playing the mind games others around seem to be.

We just don't feel that way.

Bank Holiday edition

This is being worked across the bank holiday weekend  which has its modern life issues such as contractions of public transport service just as other things like special markets and that take place.

The other is of course Bank Holiday was the sobering reminder than having been off school since around the third week of July, return was juts just over a week away with being new forms, possibly even a new school too.

So for the Little Gurl Tammy, it brings back lots of memories of preparing for that and for something enjoying those last week or so's carefree fun playing on your swing swaying back and forth which I love to do even if I have to fight the insects off

Summer used to include much watching of cartoons back to back and in the late 1990's and early 2000's come the summer I'd sit with ice creams watching reruns of classic older cartoons from my youth.

Fittingly then I got this box set over seven sides of original Tom and Jerry cartoons including some some networks no longer show because of changed attitudes even though the "right" moral outcome is shown.

That's a load of fun for Little Gurl me.

Littles Camp Summer 2024

Well I was away last week at a Littles meet up where it was rather warm, indeed excessively so which meant I didn't actually bring a sweater, cardigan or sweatshirt with me at all and in fact I hardly wore a coat either.

Sissikins left the house to be picked up around midday which meant the postie saw me as did the neighbours looking rather like this, more schoolgurlish and even walked among the "muggles" at Whalley Abbey without issue.

Being demure, speaking softly, avoiding fetish linked presentations and not sounding like a trucker I feel helped out.

Working in teams we made housed from card and decorated them with pink being a popular colour

We also did Home econ baking cakes and cookies of which mine were chocolate.

Rather tasty,what?

Sissy gurls win prizes as I won a dolly with a pretty dress and crown on in the outdoor treasure hunt which was most fitting as I wore a fair bit of pink.

That include by pink satin with white lace BabyDoll night dress and satin frilly french knickers which was the most suitably sissiest I have ever worn away and seeing myself really dollied up as a sissy felt just wonderful.

Also won in the general knowledge quiz was this most appropriate Guides water carrier with pop up straw which will prove useful when out either on day visits or exploring as an eternal Brownie.

We played rounders with a proper long bat  fielding and  batting in two teams and had a school sports day event where I wore a green top and my white skort with frilly socks.

It was an enjoyable time spent in pleasant company and some great home cooking.

Beyond that, I fel the bigger thing was my feeling comfortable as a Little Sissy frilled and in satins beneath my skirts - I didn't even have a single pair of shorts with me so I just had to find the inner confidence to go out and talk dressed obviously feminine.

Sissikins was a very Good Gurl not just helping out but being true to hur Sissy nature.

Discourse: Little Sissies exist!

Okay so I was going to post something rather different but seeing a dialogue of the deaf going on one one site one what was supposed to had been a a thread about what you might like at "sissy event" being hijacked by a Little Girl who thinks all Sissies are about SPH*, adult humilation and one Sissy who thinks sissies can only be into going to places where you might be "tied up", called any amount of demeaning sexually explicit  terms and Forced to do anything.

That is so so ridiculous.

Of course some sissies and much of Online sissy culture does run with all of that which if you see yourself as primarily an Adult who is very much sexual is totally fine.

Some do use traits such as dressing like a child as a humilation but that doesn't make being dressed like one necessarily a matter of being humiliated so much you are attempting to resemble a child- the child you see yourself as or enacting and they sure don't deserve to be seen as a kink ever.

Little Sissies can and do exist - unlike LG's (Little Girls) we tend to be more frilly feminine than most of the same emotional age and perhaps by their standards effeminate - but basically we like the same games, play with toys that uses our imagination, dolly tea parties, arts and crafts, dress up sessions and the like.

When we're like that we do things that are more child-like enjoying being that child even if we're more frilly from many a LG.

Having been their and done it I know it exists in just the same way Adult Sissy stuff does and really it's entirely up to you what side if any you're on.

Just quit lecturing people about things you don't know and haven't had the life doing.

Dollies and the the Feminine Gurl

Another week, our 1,000th post and in view of some of my posts in varying places I am going to post something around a topic I don't think can be ignored.

The sissy gurl is just that - feminine but biologically male which tends to show in many ways we've looked at over time such as how we present ourselves compared to our peers in society and we've mentioned a bit about growing up as a feminine boy.

I've spoken about schooling but a big thing then was play and play is in many ways the last frontier of gender stereotypes and gatekeeping and play includes action figures typically for boys who are masculine and dolls for most girls often the more feminine.

The feminine boy has been missed out cos he may play with either which is perhaps in some respects more balenced and that was true for me personally at the time.

So it is interesting that a leading toy company is showing in a commercial a boy playing with dolls which are clearly feminine from which this is a still from.

Everything around the boy is pink.

That is code for: Girls Only so I think we clearly say he's a feminine boy even if his dress is more gender neutral and he dresses and plays with them.

Given these dolls are Barbies they are clearly "dollies" dolls to be dressed as fashion icons, practising looks and ideas.

Looking at the rest of us we really need to go back and start playing with dollies ourselves.

The simplest are woollen dolls which are fun to hold, hugs and tip-toe in adventures we create using our imagination.

The next level up is the moulded doll which typically come in 8, 12 or 18 inch sizes such as this American Girl one whose outfits can easily be changed to place in different eras and sorts of adventures from school days to parties and are generally very well made.

Another sort is more action figure but with changeable attire such as this Hermoine Granger dollie from the Harry Potter franchise with bendable joints, supplied in UK inspired school uniform.

Finally for the more responsible or older feminine boy/gurl there are the porcelain collectable dolls that come with stands where the character is set in period which are collected and handled rather than played with on the floor or in a park.

Dollies are a feminine gurls joy helping him see how they can be and something they can share with girls which they often crave to be allowed to play with, having fun, expressing hur more girlish feminine nature.

The week minus

Today's post would of been different for actually being able to be away enjoying myself with a few people I know but sadly that was not going to be.

What might of been achieved however is I suspect questionable given at least here it has been very wet, windy and a bit chilly so in some respects at least as here I'd of been stuck indoors with some heating on just playing rather than playing by myself.

That means the only real loss is company really and that perhaps can be sorted for some point in the future when weather and me are better than they currently are.

Instead I played some music here at the weekend between the Olympics coverage and reading the odd comic that came at the weekend.

That's really more like it!

Free to be me

Sometimes I feel I've gone on about some aspects of this life which admittedly are necessary but may also in minds of others get in the way of seeing what indeed the biggest thing about being that person, the adult little child is really about although we did briefly touch on it last week.

Really  it is the freedom to be you, to enjoy being what you are, a child and to be naturally child-like in your sense of fun and adventure several steps away from the grind of adult responsibilities that you struggle to understand never mind do.

It's having a laugh, being from what might be seen from a grown up angle to be silly, not risky, just anything but serious and that's what it's all about.

A time for play?

Really this hasn't been the greatest of weeks but the crazy thing is when I'm like this I have the most vivid colour rich ideas running through my head.

What I need is really this, being taken away to just play with thinks like a dolls house, model farm, a sand tray or toy car circuit being dressed as the most juvenile girls attire, spoken down to and lead into playing  utterly free from any adult or even adolescence pretensions, losing myself utterly in the moment.

These were the things we played with as children both at home, school and at Child Guidance cos I had a lot of issues even then.

That's more what I need.

Handing it all back

Sometimes you realize the distance you have travelled in ways that may seem a bit odd

Lockdown was a big change in how things went in March last year that few of us expected and none of us ever actually wanted so much as announcement that took a while to actually take in because in so many ways everything around our lives had been changed BY ORDER.

There was no "Would you awfully mind doing this to help us all?" There was NO CHOICE.

If there was any lasting extent of adult or at least adolescent notions of making up your own mind about what to do, handling any risks personally that was totally gone and from my vantage point it felt familiar.

To me a age dysphoric child of ten, it was as if ADULT AUTHORITY had grabbed me by the arm and was ordering me rather like Head Teachers did telling me at any one point what to do and with no place for me consider what it and any suddenly announced changes were about.

To me it was that very much I was expected to be silly little person of no importance who just followed the rules and did what they were told.

For all that Coronavirus brought, I moved past many of those issues facing fears head on, exploring and actually enjoying being that little all over again as with much of the community off work or working from home our worlds crossed and I was accepted for just being that, getting on with life, following the guidance.

I decided to wear skirts of the sort when I was originally ten experimenting between the long socks that were worn more with them in that era and tights which are common for juniors today.

I did sometimes wear short trousers of the brevity I did back then where it would be more dignified too.

Partially it was because I was trying to deal with dysphoria by looking more as I felt on the inside but also as an outward symbol of my complacence with a state of DOING WHAT YOU ARE TOLD.

I went out as much as we were allowed and in the first months it was just once a day and just explored and even played imaginary games in the countryside as the playground was shut for a big period but I could make my very own playground when I act out the games we played running, crawling across gravel and grass leaving any passing adults to get on with their own thing.

I found over time I just lost any vestige of being an adult increasingly taking a younger role in adult company feeling comfortable with that and that in strange way publicly tearing up my adult status meant I forged a new and lower status.

The status of adulthood was never a thing I wanted simply because I hadn't the means of using it to make a life I felt happy with nor did I 'get' what it was about because all I wanted was the life of a feminine boy or sissy gurl.

I saw my reflection in the window the other day, a person with a patterned bobble hat, blue short coat, grey short shorts or a skirt with grey turn over top socks with two purple stripes walking down the road.

I saw ME in the reflection.

By losing all airs of adulthood I gained what I wanted: The Status of a Little.

It is all I am.

Play

I've never understood it, but at some point in their lives most people exchange the word playing for hanging out, or something similar. If they are doing an activity that is usually called playing when you're chronologically a child e.g. drawing, putting together a puzzle, or looking at dolls/action figures, they'll say that instead of the word. Why?

Why is playing a thing that only children do? Animals such as dogs and cats play throughout their lives and nothing is wrong with it, so why are we humans restricted from it? Why can't I say "I was playing in my room" without it being taken as weird or dirty?

What's even more absurd is that I actually came across an article talking about adult versions of playing e.g. replacing crayons with fancy paint and play doe with a sculpting class. Like, excuse me? Why should I have to adultify my play, even going so far as to call it something other than playing?

I just don't get it! Why does society want us to stop playing? I have a feeling if grownups were allowed the privilege of playing the same as as us kids, they would be a lot less grumpy.

I go out at mid morning and lunch time because I need a "playtime" where I can do anything from running around, going on a swing to imaginary play pretending to be a secret agent on the run.

There's no need to coat it in adult contexts like "team building" because it's just people you share space with playing whither you are in an office or at school.

I just call it for what it is: Playing.

Switch off and sit on the floor reading your comics

There is more to this life than merely uniforms and attire and I said the other day no it's nowt to do with "humiliations"

It is more about being in the headspace of and positioned socially as that little that you feel most comfortable as cos in the inside that is, that was always you as much as people tried pushing you to faked adolescence and adulthood because that suited their ideas of what you were and should be.

l am reading comics much more now than I did because really that is much better for my mental well-being as a actual child on the inside who struggles to cope with the adult world and even couldn't keep up with early adolescent peers.

These are aimed nominally at seven to fourteen year olds established in 2012 with lots of weekly series that mix comic strips with older illustrated text stories in the manner comics in the earlier part of the last century did.

It wasn't when I was ten that all I read was comics, I read the Guardian and Observer newspapers for the headlines, filling in the gaps on John Craven's Newsround but the point was I just read what I needed to knew like things about the Royal Wedding, the Three Day Week and IRA Terrorism and then moved on to reading comics, playing with Action Man, lego, and toy cars if not playing in the street with other boys.

That balance is the best one for me and why it happens, you having caught up with what you need to know move on and take a total break in another world pf your own from all of that.

The boy in short trousers then knew what the little now needed which is why I'm doing it as the little sissy gurl in their dress open about your real gender today.

Just reading and playing in your pretty dress.

A crossroads in March

I'm trying to avoid taking in too much of the news updates and that not least as beyond the sissy gurl label, I am actually and adult little albeit of a sissy sort.

A pleated tartan skirt, long white socks and Mary Janes would be really the thing for me in that more younger than your years presentation.

Virus or not it was my birthday recently and in with the presents was something pretty useful connected with that little side.

I love and need lego to play with having a few sets and this set from the Lego Educational range comprises of wheel parts like axles, tires plus the baseplates and connectors to attach them to your lego.

This at a stroke expands the range of things I can just make and play with.

The Year of the Feminine Gurl

This year is going to be pretty much one of being totally little in that all but the most necessary elements of adulthood won’t be given time of day anymore simply because it was obvious to me over Christmas frankly they’re so unnecessary.

They are unnecessary because they have little to do with the state of being me, that is to say how I think, what I think about and how I think about me as I sat just like that child back then did taking out their lego and just playing with it casually.

I just came and act from that whole space even explaining to one sibling why I do some of these little things I do who strangely enough had no problem with and even admitted when he found the adult world to much he went back to some of his childhood pursuits.

Moreover this is will be a year where I will dress in a skirt or maybe grey short trousers with something approximating school type uniform with just a toning down depending on exactly I might get to but nevertheless looking more a little with their long grey or white pereline socks on with school shoes.

That no one in my family has an issue with how I present nor anyone in my wider community who have known me personally from primary school onwards such as Karl who saw me on Sunday is an indication of just how being me needs nothing more than a little careful thought.

This year adulthood is out - it WILL be the year of the feminine gurl.

Play and what we play with

I'm feeling better this week so I thought I'd write something a little different than usual.
Something I started noticing several years back when I first started buying my own stuffies and especially dolls was a difference between what some bought them for and what I did before getting involved around the world of littles.

One of things I found odd was what I later called the "collectors mentality" where people bought them in the original packaging and kept them permanently in that state, boxed up at best on shelf or otherwise in a storeroom.

To me they seemed to see them as objects that admittedly they liked  but the bais was clearly on maintaining that collectors item look and monetary value to the point they weren't handled and cherished even if they were intended for children who would play with them.

Personally, I buy my dolls and stuffies to play with although my porcelain ones are because of their delicateness are more handled than played with.

I take them out to sit by, hug whenever I feel the 'need' to hug or carry on in my hand around the house or wherever I am s
taying. I create stories featuring them which I then play with in real time together freely.

That's for me apart from those 'special dolls' they are my toys which as an adult child I play with in much the same way that I did as a child and as some saw me recently even gently rocking a pram with dollies.

It's what I get from playing with them that matters more to me than that whole collectors thing.

Cross gender play

The subject of how gender divides play and other learning experiences continues to lead for discussions but to me it isn't even  what it is we learn from even that's at issue but how  move on from a position of hostility and almost reverse sexism where anything with a hint of masculinity is bad to one that is more balanced and respectful for all.
This is from a much criticized era, the 1950's the era of the retreat to the kitchen and being #2 to the man of house but actually is really good in that we have an engineering based toy that can and is shown used by girls as well as boys and unusually the girl is show putting a piece together even.

The message is a girl can make things and moreover we have gender co-operation too, where his is allowing her to play a role as an equal.
Yes, she's actually putting a coupling rod in while still being feminine! You CAN do both.
One wonders how many female engineers of the 60's and early 70's took part in those baby steps in getting women in engineering on the back of such cross-gender toys?
Where is its modern day equivalent???

I did have a Meccano set when I was younger but found much of suggested things to make too masculine but this would of been really ideal.

It's not just girls who suffer from the sharp gender signalling that many toy manufactures go along with, it's also gender fluid children who in time of course become gender fluid adults.
It may sound ironic but maybe a return to this kind of toy would be better where we all play together as equals.

Am I too old to play with toys?

Today I'm going to be talking about something that you might be going through or maybe it happened to you in your childhood that I think matters.

Most of us grew up with our parent(s) or a very close relative rather than say being with foster parents, in care or adopted and generally they oversaw how we grew up including the things we did or played with.

Every so often there was this talk about  the toys we had like if we still wanted them, could a sibling or cousin have them and sometimes they might of said something like "You no longer need Millie, Chris. You're a big grown up boy now and you don't play with dolls."

Not a few boys get told even they shouldn't and are not to play with dolls too which is sad.

If you were really unlucky, you'd come home from school and just find your toys decimated and probing why would produce the answer "You're too big for them now so I took them away"   which tended to be what happened with mine. That sucks!

Actually they could well be wrong especially as it applies to younger teens and a few months back a girl wrote in to the American Girl dolls magazine with the following question to which they wrote this reply:

This is actually pretty interesting and I have little doubt influenced by children's welfare 'experts' who see so much pressure on acting more sophisticated, in many ways trying too hard at being grown up, being too serious for our own good.

Writing this as someone who is legally an adult I like what they have to say about maturity a  lot which is really what we mean by  being grown up which is more about how we treat others and how we  run our lives. In a word, being responsible which we can struggle with and I won't lie to my younger readers that I haven't had this  too but that is all it is.

Growing up and even being Grown Up doesn't mean we should not enjoy play or doing something creative, indeed only this week gone, someone who isn't an age regressor like me just came out and said they were going to make a Lego model and did, showing pictures to our circle of plain adult  friends.

I said life's too short not to do the things we enjoy and they agreed.

If you feel like it, then don't be afraid to especially if you are feeling stressed.

Modern uniform options

Uniform can sometimes result in quite impassioned debate from those who believe people not least children have a right to individual expression in all settings  to those who feel it can result in less favourable outcomes because it restricts opportunities.

Traditionalists  often feel a uniform policy that goes back to at least the early decades of the twentieth century is about holding true to something they feel hasn't been in the main found wanting and attempts to simplify only hold back from the skills required for adult presentation such as fastening ties, shoes and how to wear a suit properly.

There is one area I would hold with not least at infant and primary levels with some which is skirts do not lend themselves to free play which happens at playtimes and at home when with friends because a wearer, traditionally a girl is forever worried about flashing their underwear accidentally to the point it reduces their physical activity in the playground.

The same applies with sissiesbut brought up as boys who may be more feminine that would prefer not to wear trousers or short trousers as again a good number love play and that would result in teasing.

In recent years the retailer Marks and Spencers ("M&S") have introduced a school skort into their range of off the shelve uniform which does look more like a skirt to the point of having a traditional back unlike the more shorts like basic of earlier examples.

That looks more like a skirt at first glance and does work well with polo tops which in the last two decades more primary schools have moved towards.

As can be seen here, there is a built in mesh undershort which ensures no underwear will be shown however you play, climbing on climbing frames, crawling on the ground or just going to pick up a pencil.

To me that really would make far more sense as a uniform option which is feminine that girls and sissy gurls would feel more comfortable in at an age play is spontaneous and their is a need to encourage them to be active.
